Can anyone tell me why my 2020 Jeep wranglers automatic window down stopped working? Where you hold the unlock button and all the windows go down. It may or may not have started happening after I had the radio unit replaced.

@Kenkochiss

You say "you hold the unlock button and all the windows go down".

I'm not aware of that ever being doable with a JL regardless of model year.

Anyone else familiar with such a feature on their / a Wrangler JL ???

This is the first I've heard of this. Definitely going to try it later.

This has never been a factory/OEM option available on any Jeep Wrangler.

Some vehicles from other manufacturers have a feature where you can press and hold the unlock button on the key fob and the windows roll down. Never on any model Wrangler though.

Perhaps the OP has an aftermarket module or alarm that adds this??

Don’t bother. This doesn’t exist on a Wangler.

Yes, I knew this but wanted to see how many would chime in and say, indeed the feature existed. 8-) LOL .

I must be going out of my mind! I swear my windows went down holding the unlock button! I do have two other vehicles that do it. Obviously I was wrong! Is there a way to delete this thread so I don't bother anybody else?

They won't even give us one touch up windows... Which makes absolutely no sense.
I for one don't want to see any dead dogs or children hanging by their neck because some people are too lazy to hold a button for three seconds.

Because that's totally a thing that happens with one touch up power windows... Are you aware that one touch up power windows are a thing that exists in many other vehicles? I had it in my Renegade for crying out loud. You're being overdramatic for no reason.

I had a VW years ago that had that feature but it was controlled by the door key. Turn the key to the right and hold and all the windows would go down. Turn and hold the key to left and the windows would go up. The feature did not work with the fob. I never found a need to use it.

X2

Unless the auto up has a safety feature (the aftermarket hack mentioned in this thread does not) it should not be on a vehicle. Yes, some vehicles have auto up but they have the safety feature.
