2020 JLUR steering issue

Has the issue been addressed in the 2021 model year or are they also subject to the TSB? Thanks.

my understanding is that all of the 2021 jeep wranglers have the new steel steering box.

Anyone else get TSB 08-074-20 done and it felt good immediately after the dealer but got progressively worse? The return to center is a bit better but the play is much worse and it clunks a bit when turning the wheel with engine off sitting in a parking lot. (About 10 degrees of play.)

(They installed the AA box).

@flightace47 ive seen pitman arms loosen and other things, go over everything on the front axle and steering. The box the sector shaft the pitman arm the tie rod ends control arms track bar ball joints ect... everything!

@JeepCares bought a 2019 JLUR with 25k miles for my wife. Factory setup and the steering was all over the road. Added Rock Krawler lift with RK steering and much improved over factory but still bad. Alignment is in spec. My 2016 JKU on 42s and SD axles way drives better. Very disappointed. Guess I’ll look into the TSB for steering box.

@JeepCares bought a 2019 JLUR with 25k miles for my wife. Factory setup and the steering was all over the road. Added Rock Krawler lift with RK steering and much improved over factory but still bad. Alignment is in spec. My 2016 JKU on 42s and SD axles way drives better. Very disappointed. Guess I’ll look into the TSB for steering box.

Yes, I will probably replace the box too, though I've got most issues corrected with items I've mentioned before. The box is around 350 i think.

My 18 jk had 100x better steering. My 03 tj has 100x better steering. Ridiculous. The psc steering setup would probably solve everything the jl steering changes created, but that's a pricey fix.

I agree. I’ve had multiple JKU and an LJ and by far the worst. I ordered a box. I thought about doing the XD box as well.

Well, there is a class action lawsuit against Chrysler now, about JL Jeep front suspension issue.
The suit is seeking of extending warranty on it, and compensation to those who had to fix it on their own dollar.
