2018 JLU DASH RATTLE

I love (loved) my JL, but the dash rattles like crazy, it sounds like it's coming from just above or around the center console screen. Anyone else have this problem? It's maddening, if I can't fix it, it has to go! I guess I bought too soon.

Im not sure if this will help you as it may be a different rattle but i noticed on my JL the sun visor rattles when it is in the normal upright position. At first i thought it was coming from that area of the gauge cluster also but turns out it was the visor. I put an extra piece of stick-on felt over the existing one that it rests on.

Kevin, you nailed it! Definitely the visor, it's like the noise comes out of the back of the visor, bounces off the windshield and sounds like it's the dash, you saved me a lot of work! Simple piece of felt and it's perfect! THANKS A LOT!!!

Has anyone found a solution to this yet ? I have a brand new 2018 Moab that has nasty vibration in dash right in front of me on driver side, happens at low speed (possibly caused by horrible KM2 tires) and over bumps. Its driving me nuts !!!! I don't know if I can take it...

Thanks Kevin. That did it for me too. I swore it was coming from the dash cluster but it was the visor.

Thank you for posting this. I just replied to someone else who said it was their vision but when I saw this picture I knew my initial thought was correct. So I just climbed under my dash and found a loose screw that holds a plate in place. I tightened it and hopefully it did the trick! Thanks again.

Can you share the screw that you tightened? I know the chances are low, but I've tried many different things at this point and am running out of options.

I have a rattle that only occurs at speed (45+ mph) and it sounds like it's coming for dead center of the drivers instrument panel/steering wheel.
