  1. JL for a roadtrip??

Ive driven my JLU from Ct to Sc 5 times and my 2 door JK 4 times before that. Its around 2300 miles counting the miles while im there, ive had no comfort issues or mechanical issues. The JLU is much better than the JK for long distance but both of them love to make stops at any wrangler's...
  2. Who's got the most miles so far?

It has been a while since i have seen this thread come across the board, but now since some of us have had our JLs for a while lets see some mileage updates, just hit 10k on mine.
  3. 2018 JLU DASH RATTLE

Im not sure if this will help you as it may be a different rattle but i noticed on my JL the sun visor rattles when it is in the normal upright position. At first i thought it was coming from that area of the gauge cluster also but turns out it was the visor. I put an extra piece of stick-on...
  4. Rear LED park light not working

Im not sure if anyone has had this issue with their JL yet but its worth a shot. My rear driver side park light has been going on and off lately. It is usually on when i leave the house in the morning and its off by the time i get to work, it seems to come and go as it pleases. I checked all the...
  5. Daily driver or second vehicle

Another great reason for a second vehicle. I do admit i drive mine in the snow so it does get a salt bath, but i wash it right away and will drive the car for most of the small messy storms since it is also awd.
  6. Daily driver or second vehicle

Not literally haha, i was exaggerating. I do about 30-35k a year between both my vehicles, most of them being to and from work. I bought my subaru off of a friend 1 1/2 years ago with 130k on it, it now has almost 175k. I just dont want the jeep to be in the same boat as i would like to enjoy it...
  7. Daily driver or second vehicle

It seems like im not the only one who has a DD then haha. While talking to other people ive heard that a beater is a good idea and others have said that i bought it to drive it. As much as i love driving it i just dont want it to have 300k miles by the time it is 5 years old.
  8. Daily driver or second vehicle

I am curious how many owners drive their jeep everyday no matter long their commute is and how many owners have a second vehicle. I do drive my jeep pretty much everyday for non commute driving but i also do over 100 miles per day for work which i leave up to my 06 subaru impreza. I will drive...
  9. How do you get your dog into the Jeep

I usually just open up the back gate and window and my aussie jumps right in. Occasionally he will just put his paws up and i will have to lift his rear if its been a long walk or he is tired from the park. He loves the back window open so ill usually leave that open.
  10. Getting the 3M adhesive off easily from jeep side logo

I wish i had seen this thread before i wasted the better part of a saturday removing them :cwl: No damage to the paint, just a pain to get the glue off.
  11. Getting the 3M adhesive off easily from jeep side logo

I took mine off also. I have never had so much trouble getting adhesive off. Im not sure what they used but it took forever to get it all off with goo gone.
  12. Which trailer to buy?

I have a 5x8 trailer from Tractor Supply with the 13 inch tires and the fold down ramp. It is solid built and not too heavy. It has more deck space than a pickup truck and easier to load things with the low height and the folding gate. It cost around $650 new and was definatly worth it in my...
  13. Did you know the 2018 Jeep JL Wrangler 3.6 has two batteries.

And the cooling fan is loud
  14. Who's got the most miles so far?

4300 miles and no issues so far.
  15. Hitch

Im sure the power outlet in the back can be used because it is constant power. I was going to do the same but the power wire that came with the kit was pretty thick and i didnt want to take the chance of overloading the outlet because i am not sure of the draw. I decided run it to the battery...
  16. Hitch

I installed the T-one adapter from etrailer yesterday. It took about 2 hours because of the power wire that has to be fished up front to the battery. Once i got everything hooked up i tested it on my trailer and everything works except the park lights on the trailer. I emailed etrailer about the...
