2020 JLURR 16.9 MPG from Trip A which has never been reset. When I do reset B or the Fuel Economy screen I get the same. Combo of highway, usually 79 MPH, and local, and a little low speed off road. Doesn't seem to matter what I do or how I drive. I was especially careful over about 30 miles yesterday and eeked out 17.5. Bone stock, 4000 miles.

79 mph is gonna kill fuel economy in any vehicle. Especially these bricks.

Roger that. Just posting info. But note, I can't do much better below that. FWIW, I test heavy-duty vehicles for fuel efficiency as a living. On test tracks. I know how to maximize, and minimize for that matter.

It's interesting that two identical vehicles can have such different results. My wife's DD is a 2020 JLURR and she has been averaging 22 mpg, with about 1/2 of those miles on the highway. Shes not a lead foot and probably keeps it at around 60-65 on the highway.

I'm in the automotive business, have been my entire career, and I am a little disappointed with the MPG. However, we had a JKUR and it probably averaged less than 16 under the same conditions. If it wasn't for that, I'd believe something was actually wrong with it. I have suspected a boost leak as it whistles/hisses a lot, but I understand that is typical. I see no indications of any issues. I've been able to eek out 20 under steady state cruise at 70ish, and that seems reasonable. I am obsessed with watching fuel efficiency in every vehicle I own, rent, drive etc. Kind of a game for me, work or play.

When you run premium do you use 91 or 93.

91. No 93 in my part of New Mexico due to the high altitude, over 5,000 ft
Thanks a bit harder to find 91 here in central Florida. You can find it, it is just not as common as 93. Of course 93 is much more expensive.

Our moab trip showed just how much higher freeway speeds hurt. Utah 80 mph speed limit, Nevada and CA 70, over the course of our entire 2,500 mile trip...14.2 mpg. The 37's and 2.5" lift don't help the mpg's either. 176 gallons of fuel are a small price to pay for an epic road trip and some of the best wheeling on the planet.

21mpg combined with 87 octane. Filled with 93 octane to see the differences. For me, no difference using 93. Still get 21mpg combine and no noticeable “power gains”.

Ordered a 2021 JLUR last week with the 2.0. Not that I am too worried about MPG, it is a Jeep after all but thinking of going to 315/70/17’s right off that bat. No lift just from 33’s to 35’s. What kind of MPG hit did anyone see under the same build? Guessing 1-2...

Just did a 650 mile weekend trip to Sedona and back with about 50 miles of that off road. Average mpg for the whole trip: 25.2mpg. Unmodified 2 door sport s running 87 octane.

So many variables... Tire's rolling resistance, pattern, width, and individual driving styles... I think your 2 MPG is about right. When my lead-footed spouse takes the wheel MPG goes down 2-3 MPG over when my conservative, borderline hyper-miler style is used.
