Is it worth it?

Ben, just a question. Did you clean the side areas good with acetone. The side panels of my HotHeads are sticking great. Good luck, I hope you get them sticking. I'm sure that's aggravating. Also, the owner is very helpful is you need him.I've got the Hothead. I've read it's better than Mopar option and I wanted tan/beige color. I like it other than the sides have not stuck on well. Tops pieces are holding fine. I don't know if they are worth it. Just Empty Every Pocket
I concur, you would have to hook up some decibel equipment to measure the real differences, but its basically insulation, and we all know that insulation works even if its just a koozie around a beer can...I have Hotheads. I like them. Are they worth it? Impossible for me to say with certainty because this is my first Jeep and I put them on S soon as I got her. But I think they’d be worthwhile to me for looks alone. Heat rejection or sound dampening are a bonus.
I've always been of the impression that headliners best address keeping out heat, with less ability to keep in cold or out noise. Is it worth it?
I have a black hard top without headliners. After the Jeep has been in the sun for 30+ minutes you cannot keep your hand on the inside of the hardtop lol (especially the rear). Which ones did you purchase?I don’t know if it would be worth it to you or not where you live, but it definitely helps with the Florida sun. I think it keeps the heat out better than it keeps the cold out. We took them out to see if there was a difference this summer, and there was a significant difference. If we get a couple of days of freezing weather this winter we’ll do another study......![]()
