  1. Poll: Bubbles in Paint??

Rear door hinges and top of windshield driver side frame. I’m not happy about it.
  2. Bubbles in Paint at Door Hinges

Might as well add me to list of premature rust.:headbang: My 18’ is primarily affected at the door hinges. I’ve never removed the doors since ownership so Jeep can’t use that b.s. excuse. I guess i’m in it for the long haul on the “rust wagon”.
  3. Can I have a Bluetooth connection?

I dumped all of my tunes on a thumb drive and leave it plugged in where the USB is located in the arm rest console. IF music is your first priority like it is for me. Otherwise, I am certain you can connect via bluetooth by pairing with your head unit.
  4. Dogs...show 'em

here is my 2 year old Boxer Duncan. Fantastic breed in my opinion and always keeping me on my toes. that's code for "he is a pain in my ass but I'm cool with it".
  5. Quadratec Customer Service Nightmare

    That's a great film!
  6. Nailed it!!!

I've seen those signs around these parts. I'm still racking my brain to why that is necessary when shopping. Does the fuel/battery efficient type vehicle expel less energy with a parking spot closer?
  7. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

That is right about the moment I was shitting myself because that is the point of no return. Well worth the money all day!
  8. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

in my setup it did both. It's quite awkward at first given the position of the seat. The front is raised but not contacting knees and the back touches the floor. You sit in the seat leaning back. Spacers are included to raise the back to limit the lean angle and balance the front to your...
  9. What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

well it’s been a couple of days but i have to brag about it! That seat slammer 2” drop from Desert Off-road is by far the best mod i’ve done to a Jeep. Not only is my 6’2” frame nice and comfortable ,but the driving experience has drastically changed in a great way. You drop in the seat in a...
  10. Hard Top Repair Options

I would consult with a reputable body shop in your area and see if they can repair the top.
  11. Leather seat issue - anyone else?

I don't have a pic but when I originally picked my Jeep up I noticed a few spots very similar to the photo above on the edge of the passenger seat. Not that it's great but I repeatedly used Chem Bros leather cleaner and eventually those spots disappeared. I was under the impression it was from...
  12. JL/JLU/JT Seat Slammers - Big and Tall Front Seat Drop (Desert Does It)

alright! just took the entire morning up installing this kit and it’s unbelievably awesome in so many ways. I had to go slow during install but otherwise it’s easy. I love the way i sit which is pitched back 2” drop to the floor. Talk about a clear visual of your instrument cluster and...
  13. Wife is broken down now, need some ideas if someone had this issue. (Edit: CODE P0302 see page 5)

just for Ha Ha’s have your Dad climb under the hood and check to see if ALL fuses in the box are properly seated. Couldn’t hurt
  14. Radio Gremlins.

Are you certain either one of the batteries are not on its way out? I have an 18' as well and the "fuse trick" worked for my wonky 7" radio, but obviously you did that already.
  15. Scaffold for Hardtop storage and removal works great

Nope. I counter balance the top by leaving the rear window up while rolling it close to the desired spot. After I lower the window it sits tucked to the back of my garage with standard height ceiling until November. Definitely use a blanket or towel under it and center the weight on the...
  16. Scaffold for Hardtop storage and removal works great

I just used the scaffold the other day and was able to remove the hardtop solo with no issues. It’s a very useful tool for my seasonal swaps and stows away nicely in the garage until late fall.
  17. do I need a faraday enclosure for Remote-Start fob?

My fob is stowed in my rolling tool box with spare fob and battery removed. When i am at work it goes in a metal coffee can. Maybe pointless practice but at least i know where it is when i need it.
  18. Quadratec Customer Service Nightmare

i had to spend $80 to return the Lange Hoist 1 of 2 boxes from MA-PA. Lost money and still had to call to process the refund after they received the box. Took 14 days for them to refund the completed purchase.
  19. JLU Sport Dome Light Removal

Finally pulled my sound bar/dome light to disconnect the Sirius/Xm cable located toward front passenger side (yellow). Just to add to this. I used a Torx 25 (3) screws located in the front seat area in front of the sounder/dome light piece. retainer clip on left and right side, plus (2) more...
