I’ve run KO/KO2 for years. Tempting as the taller 75’s are, I just don’t like the stiffness of the E ply tire. The biggest reason I am comparing the 2 I am is that both are available in a C ply. What I lose in durability I gain in comfort. In my 20’s that wasn’t a concern - but in mid 40’s it’s a worthwhile trade off!
I’m with you there - that’s what is steering me away from the Duratracs and into the trail grapplers. C load available both in 285/70/17 and 285/75/17 for the RGs

We can all thank Ford for the availability of the 315/70-17 KO2 in a C-ply. These tires are OEM on the 2018 Raptors. They're in limited supply right now but should generally be available around May 1.

Same sizes and offset...just different wheels and tires. No rubbing, however, I'm waiting on the 2" lift before I take it offroad...

That looks awesome! Only difference is I’m starting with Sahara. So my clearance is 2” less because of high line fenders.

I took the inserts completely off now. But I
TampaJL- my Sahara just arrived. Really hoping you might be able to share a bit more detail on what part of insert you removed.

I’m going with ProComp 7069’s 17x9 with 4.75 and -6. I’m between the 285/70/17 and 315/70/17. So far, your rig is the best example of what i’d Be looking at until I can do suspension. That said, from cost perspective - not sure how far out that is.

Now that you’ve lived with it - still no rub? Any chance you might elaborate on what part of bumper insert you removed + any photos?

A bit scared to go with 315’s yet KNOW I’ll regret the 33’s after lift
I took the inserts off now. But I trim the lower tabs beneath the bumper into the wheel well. The piece is only about an inch deep there

Depending on brand and quality . 35's can run between 350.00 & 450.00 ea
and Rims can run between 200.00 and 450.00 each
+ mount and balance

Wheels can go even higher depending on brand and material

AVG - out the door - 4,000.00 to 4,500.00

My new 2018 Sahara in the work shop. This is a comparison of the stock tires and Cooper STT PRO 325/65R18.

Please let me know your thoughts.

It depends on the specific tire and wheel. Plus, if you include sensors.

You should budget $500 to $600 per wheel/ tire, at the min
