30K miles and no rubbing yet. I haven't done any extreme off-roading though. If I had plans to for any extreme wheeling I may do a leveling kit.
Sir, do you have the nitto grapplers? How did you install it on the tire carrier? Did you have any reinforcement kits? I have been doing research and it says that the max weight for stock tire carrier is 85 lbs, while the nitto tire itself is already 79 lbs (without the rims!)

I just had 37x12.5r17's Milestar Patagonia's installed on my factory Rubicon wheels. Note: I am using Terraflex 1 3/4" wheel spacers. No rub on lock to lock.

I have a Sport-S daily driver with 2” AEV spacer lift and wheel spacers. I just recently installed 35/12.5/17 Ridge Grapplers (e-rated) on stock rubicon wheels and I am about to buy new wheels. Discount tire mounted them but Nitto recommends an 8.5” wide wheel minimum. The wheel is not wide enough for the e-rated tire and even at 25psi cold the outer edges of tread are not touching the ground. If you go with a c-rated tire like a K02? It should be fine.
If I had a Rubicon I would skip 35’s and go straight to a 37, even for a daily driver. Even with my 3.45 gearing the 35’s are hardly noticeable in performance.

So i have decided to buy new rims along with the Nitto Grappler. However, would the tires rub on the front bumpers under normal driving conditions/ turning/ mild trailing?
Here is a stock JLUR with Method MR702 wheels and 315/70/17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I have no rubbing. These are 0 offset. 4.75" backspacing.

Sorry, I have some shitty Pro-Comp tires on it now. Not sure what they weigh. Haven't had trouble with the stock carrier. I use paddle balls to extend the bump stops.
