How heavy is the 2 door rear seat, and is it easy to remove?
I dont know the weight, but it's pretty heavy. Removal is simple, but you'll want a helper to tote it any distance. Just fold it, tip it forward, press down on both ends of the release bar, and slide it out the back.

Just for safety reasons alone it's a two person job. Watch out for back injuries!
In the 2019 Sport you can keep the rear seat flipped up with the included Velcro straps. Hopefully this may solve the problem.

I keep mine flipped up

Went on amazon and got 12inch bungees

One end on a headrest post, other end on the bottom bracket of the seat

If you need to use the seat, two seconds to remove the bungee

Why don't you use the straps (with velcro) on the back of the seat and hook it to the bracket on the back of the door post by the bottom of the window.

I have taken mine out by myself but it is very awkward. Two people is a lot better.

Back injuries are no joke, screwed mine up years ago just cutting up a tree. The chainsaw was a good 12 pounds and I swung it out of the way with my right arm while pulling on a branch with my left - BINGO - ruptured a disc and hurt worse than jumping on a bicycle without the seat! I suffered pain and more disc ruptures for 12 more years before I finally had to have surgery, and thankfully it cured it. I know, I use to hear it all the time growing up from my uncles on the farm, boy - you gonna screw up your back doing ....., but I was too strong and stupid to listen. It doesn't take much, my wife did it pulling up on a ladder getting out of a pool, she had her back bent just right and boom!

Anyone know of a rear area cargo mat for the 2 door with the seat removed? Looking for something that covers the whole deck when the rear seat is out completely.

Weathertech makes a high quality floor mat for that application.
I just bought the laser cut floor mats for my Wrangler. It is a bit pricey but it's a real good item. I'd buy mine again in a flash.

Yeah, I agree.
I may get the full mat later on because you can put the rear seat back in with the mat in place.
I got the full mat, no issues installing/removing the seat over it.

Thanks!
That's the type of information I need. Now to get someone to risk their back with me getting the seat out.

I will say DO NOT buy the Quadratec mat.
They just are using the 4 door mat and saying its for the 2 door with seats removed.
Does not fit well.

Weathertech mats are good, but I want something with a bit of a lip and no cutouts where water/mud/liquids can run onto the carpets.

Anyone tried the Rugged Ridge mat yet?
I think its what I want, but cant tell if it is "rubbery" or "plasticy".
Hoping for rubbery.

See if they'll send you a sample to determine how rubber like it is. Some Customer Service departments are set up for this.
Also let us know about the fit and finish should you get one.
