Yes. Ive only seen those pop up for a few a minutes or so once in the 10k miles ive had the Jeep . NO rhyme or reason why the showed up that one time.
I was excited when they finally showed up...then a few minutes they were gone again.
My Jeep has been at the dealership multiple times and still no fix. They've pushed it off as a "Jeep SW Update" that will fix it eventually...

Just out of curiosity, are you at sea level? I notice it usually works when I'm above 100ft elevation...although this should not affect it at all because my GPS location and elevation show all the time in the GPS menu. My guess is there's a disconnect/bug in ORP that isn't pulling the data correctly.

Lost mine 3 months after getting the radio head replaced. Worked great in the mountains and then last week...poof...gone. No idea what's going on with it....

This is what happened to me when they tried to update it. My dealer gave no resolution and just said that it could not be fixed at this time. I waited 9 months for all the dust to settle on this thing before I even complained. A lot of good that patience did me. Did the new radio fix it?

Sorry for the non-response.

I haven't done anything to this point yet. They had to order me a new radio, which took about a month to show up. They called last week to ask me to schedule an appointment to get it swapped out, but I've got a bit of cold feet. If I knew 100% it would fix the issue and I would have ORP, I'd do it. But there are three things stopping me thus far:

1. Many people with brand new 2019's, and brand new radios with the latest software, with no ORP.

2. Many people who have either gotten software updates or whole new radios that then have ORP, only to have them disappear again at some point afterward. The general consensus seems to be that is some kind of (incorrect) software licenseing issue causing this, but it's not 100% clear yet.

3. I'm not crazy about having them tear apart my dash if it's not a certain, 100% fix. My dash is still factory tight. When you start taking stuff apart and putting it back together, I get worried about the little creaks and noises that can develop, where there currently are none.

Then on top of that, you have a couple of the most recent posts in the thread saying that Chrysler told a dealer not to replace the radio because another fix should be coming out (which is really all that needs to happen on this whole topic as a fix anyway).

So I don't know. I haven't called the dealer back to schedule it. I don't really love them tearing my dash apart, and I don't really have any confidence that replacing the radio will fix the issue at all... Or that if it DOES fix it, that the fix would stay.

I received a reply from my "Uconnect case manager" that said basically that "we are working on a fix for this and once the update is available I will be reaching out to you to have your vehicle brought back to dealership"..."we do not have an ETA on the update"

FYI....

I bought my Jeep Feb ā€˜18. No ORP. Fix came out in Jan and they said I needed a new radio. Swapped it out and ORP were there and worked flawlessly. Sometime last week they disappeared. Yesterday theyā€™re back and working just as they never left.

Noticed a new app ā€˜Notificationsā€™ that I ca t remember being there before so not sure if the radio did a behind the scenes update and took a few hours running to get everything back and squared away.

I canā€™t notice a thing around the dash where they swapped it out. Took them less than 90 min from when I dropped it off to get it done.

Hmm .I am in Florida . The one time I did see it, I was on some trails out in the forest . I'll look into this and try it on a high bridge or something .Lol

Am I missing something about the ORPs?
I guess it is a "neat" little app, but other than the pitch and roll tab, it does not seem to have anything that you cannot also get from the dash center display.
Is there something else that it is supposed to do other than showing those 3 tabs? (4x4 system, gauges, pitch/roll)

Altitude, lat/long
Ability to see all engine gauges on one screen

Right... but it's all information that is already available in another spot, no?
At least on mine, I can find everything from the ORP on a separate screen. So, it would be pretty insane to think that it somehow had something to do with some subscription or something.
We don't have any subscriptions for anything over across the pond, so I was thinking perhaps I was missing something that was unique to the ORPs in the US vs the EU.
Not downplaying that fact that people are pissed that it disappears, certainly I would be as well since it was advertised as being there, even if I do not personally use it.
Seems like a clear case of a SW issue on the NA variants.

You have access to the engine gauges in the speedometer screen but you have to scroll to see everything vs having it all presented on one screen.

You donā€™t have access to altitude/gps data at all on that screen either.

Ability to see transfer case and inclinometer info is also more easily accessed and viewed with the ORP.

Off road pages appeared on my 8.4 Uconnect just now(2019 Sahara). We had tried the TSB download at the dealership but it was not compatible. This was OTA. Thank you to Deidra my Uconnect Case Manager for her help and keeping me informed.

I reached out to Jeep Cares and gave them my VIN to see if they could push an OTA update to my vehicle but this was their response:

Hello, thank you for providing us with your VIN. After further research, we are unable to provide an over the air update for the Jeep Off Road Pages at this time. If you'd like further clarification regarding this, we would be happy to connect you with a Uconnect Specialist. We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you. ^AC

Then I asked how I could get the update if not OTA and they replied:

Hello, thank you for your response. Unfortunately, there is not an update for the off road pages at this time. Please feel free to check back at a later date for a status update. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. We thank you for your patience at this time. ^AC

So now Iā€™m asking for the Uconnect specialist.
