  1. Mopar or Dynatrac 2" Lift

Hi, I have a lod steel front bumper with a winch. After adding a 1/2 spacer in the front to accommodate the weight it sits right at 2”. I would say if you are adding all that weight you will see about a 1 1/2” lift. Good luck.
  2. Thanks - Our new Rubicon with Tire Delete and New Shoes

Looks good for around town driving only. Here is an experience I had last year. Picking up my daughter from college in her new Jeep Compass to go to my father-in-laws funeral on a Friday night and got a blow out on the highway in the middle of nowhere. No problem, just put the spare on...
  3. Mopar or Dynatrac 2" Lift

There are many threads on this. Do a quick search. I would add front and rear Adjustable track bars and adjustable front lower control arms to get the castor close to 6 degrees if I remember right. I added them with the Dynatrac lift, but I like things to be as perfect as possible. Good luck.
  4. Do I need spare tire relocation kit after mounting 315/70/17 tires on Rubicon wheels?

35s/315 no issue. Didn’t need to change anything. Also been off road a lot with no issues. Just make sure you extend the bump stops if you get an offset further out. I bought AEV wheels so the offset was as close to stock. Good luck

Not much to add, but this is unbelievable. The instructions are step by step and pretty simple, even if you never put a lift on. Crazy...

  12. Accidental audio improvement with dash speakers and Alpine system

I don’t think they were done by anyone. They were to perfectly done. I believe they were definitely factory installed.
  13. Accidental audio improvement with dash speakers and Alpine system

Mine came with the capacitor already installed. Curious if yours did as well? That at be the difference between 3032s and the older 3022s.
  14. Do you wish Mopar made half doors and uppers for the JL?

Yes, I am waiting for them. I want them bad. After owning a CJ7 for 15 years the doors with the window frame makes me feel to enclosed.
  15. Accidental audio improvement with dash speakers and Alpine system

I just bought a set from Crutchfield as well. They had a set of open box which saved $17.00 plus free adaptors which is another savings of 10.00. There customer service was great. Can’t wait to get them now. Thanks for the info. Edit Mine came with the capacitors already soldered on. What a...
  16. JL accessories to avoid at ALL costs (post your warnings here)

I second this. I had many of the same issues. Mainly there was not enough adjustments to make them not rattle. I have read many that had them work great. I think it is just luck of the draw.

Great pictures. I think I saw you there Saturday just from your picture on this site. Was a great day indeed. Quick question for you, the JL is a far cry from my old CJ 7, manual three speed with a 360. The JL was much more difficult to drive, I actually had to use the manual mode to drive...
