As of today, January 4, 2019, TSB 08-001-19 has been released for dealers to perform the manual update using a flash drive. Dealers have access to this TSB through their online technical resources. At this time, if you call the dealer and request for TSB 08-001-19 to be applied to your vehicle, they can perform the repair once you bring it in.

• Radio may reset, turn off and then back on.
• Audio distortion heard during phone calls and Apple CarPlay
• Rear View Camera (RVC) display screen turns blue or green.

I've been waiting for info on this, too. Does it apply to my case, too?

After 4 reboots over three months, my ORP seems to be stable. Got a call from Jeep Cares asking about ORP. They said that they are going to try to transmit the TSB fix along with the dealership fix. But they weren't sure that the OTA fix would work.

I'd have the dealer check out the radio. My radio wasn't receiving a cellular signal so they are replacing the radio next week. I'm glad the TSB is out to install the software for ORP at the dealership but I'd still want a functioning radio that receives future firmware updates. The TSB seems like a quick fix to get ORP working, but I'd focus on why you didn't receive an OTA update.

Nailed it. I'd get that radio fixed so you don't have to keep going back to the dealership for updates. Again great catch on the TSB posting.

Thanks, Darlene @JeepCares ! Do they do an actual manual update at the dealership or do they just reboot? If they just reboot, I've already done that several times and still have no off-road pages.

I just set up an appointment with my dealership to get it updated on Wednesday the 16th. I can't wait to finally get the ORP! My Jeep will finally be whole!
