0.1% is insanely high. 1/1000 that your car will burn your house down while you sleep? That’s a company that shouldn’t exist anymore.Paranoid about the latest recall? Apparently the defect rate is about 0.1%.

I suppose with the recall it is parked…that appears to be enough.
.1% is the battery failure rate, the total number of fires was 19 last time I checked...out of 400k 4xe's sold. That's far lower than the fire rate of standard ICE rigs.0.1% is insanely high. 1/1000 that your car will burn your house down while you sleep? That’s a company that shouldn’t exist anymore.
Are we not talking about the power steering pump recall affecting over 1 million vehicles?.1% is the battery failure rate, the total number of fires was 19 last time I checked...out of 400k 4xe's sold. That's far lower than the fire rate of standard ICE rigs.
That's the chance of having the issue at all, not the chance that it'll get to the point where it torches the Jeep after being shut off and left, or that the Jeep is close to / in your home when it happens, right?0.1% is insanely high. 1/1000 that your car will burn your house down while you sleep? They’re fun while it lasts but never worth the trouble in the end. Kicking your door down while you’re on deployment and all.I dated a woman like that once. Had to always keep one eye open for her burning down everything I owned.
Maybe, but how many actual fires have there been. Knowing there's a connector issue that could possibly overheat and catch fire is just like the 4xe batteries. It's a very low percentage risk, but they ask have the potential. Are we not talking about the power steering pump recall affecting over 1 million vehicles?
I would expect less than .001%. Maybe a dozen total.Maybe, but how many actual fires have there been. Knowing there's a connector issue that could possibly overheat and catch fire is just like the 4xe batteries. It's a very low percentage risk, but they ask have the potential.
Dating a girl with enough crazy strength to kick your door down though…there must have been some benefits...right?They’re fun while it lasts but never worth the trouble in the end. Kicking your door down while you’re on deployment and all.

Should’ve had a kid with her; you would’ve had a Hodoor to help. She was 6’1 and wasn’t shy.
I’ll leave it at that
I thought I read yesterday somewhere in here that there was like 72 affected across ALL vehicles that have the pump installed. I am good with those odds. LOL....I would expect less than .001%. Maybe a dozen total.
When I was little we lived in project housing apartments and a woman poured gas on her man while he was asleep in one of the other buildings and set the building on fire. Don't remeber what happened to the dood.I dated a woman like that once. Had to always keep one eye open for her burning down everything I owned.
