Many times these days, customer service call are routed to answering service type call centers. Often you are not even speaking to anyone who works for the organization. I will ask that question too when I'm speaking to someone.
I’ve had call centers lie to me about working for the organization. Years ago I had an issue with an enterprise/business HP laptop. The service lady overseeing the repairs to my laptop started saying how I was at fault (I wasn't), I will be billed for the shipping to the service center, yadda yadda yadda. I asked to speak to her supervisor and was told she was the highest level I would ever get. I asked if she works for HP and she assured me she did. I asked for her employee number, she reluctantly gave it, and I replied, "That's not an HP employee number." Only reason I knew that was family / close family friends that worked there. Turns out, support was contracted out to a call center in PR. That was also the last HP product I bought.

I have nothing to add to this, other than it's amazing how a single bad experience can leave a rank taste in the mouth that impacts future decisions. It's also one of many reasons why when you encounter excellent customer service, it's worth mentioning.

I still wont buy a new Chevrolet truck after the experience I had 25 years ago. It's not that it was a truck that seemed to be built on a Monday morning after a 3 day weekend, or the Thursday afternoon before, but it was the way two dealers treated me with the warranty issues. That told me that GM was the real issue.

So, Morimoto may likely be unaware that their answering service is as bad as it is. Hopefully the product is a quality one and it functions well.

When I first got 35/12.50’s for my 95 Dodge 2500 I got BFG’s. Within a couple weeks one grenaded on the way home from work. I always bumped the tires moving my stuff from the big rig to the PU. ………. It must have been run flat, warranty denied……. It’s replacement 28 years ago was the last BFG I bought or will buy.

Just this afternoon, I had my first taste of Amazon's nascent, AI-driven Chat function. It's hardly perfect, and to be fair, the AI text function conceded this when it eventually asked me if I wanted a call from a live agent. That said, the back-and-forth was easy to navigate, and it's clear that it will only get better with time.

Coincidentally, I stayed away from Jeep for 25 years, after the crapshow that was my brief ownership of a lemon-flavored YJ.

Rediscovering the brand back in 2020 was humorous at times. Having well and truly kept my distance for those two and half decades, my only frame of reference was the YJ, which was itself a tarted-up CJ. As I was perusing my dealer's lot stock and observing things like leather interiors, heated steering wheels, available 20" alloy wheels and the rest, I seriously wondered for a moment if I was looking at something other than a Wrangler.

You're probably already aware, but BF Goodrich is owned by Michelin. Just an FYI.

Yeah, and I will never buy another set of Michelins either ! Damndest tires, I replaced the 05 4R’s factory tires with mild AT Michelins. About 10 years and and well over 100K miles later they still had years worth of tread but were too old and DT wouldn’t honor the free repair and had to pay elsewhere for a few years until 210K mi and I gave it to my grandson. 😁😉
It actually did annoy me that I paid top dollar for very high mileage tires and DT cut the warranty off the same 10 year time frame as cheaper lower mileage rated ones.

Easy install and I think they look better than the factory halogen tail lights.
They look good. Any issues with the resistor blast adhering? I've wondered if that's a future rattle.

Update:
The Morimoto XB LED Tail Lights arrived this morning via FedEx. Case closed. I have not yet decided if I'm going to keep/install them. They look pretty good as @MTBhops photo shows. Going to sit on it a while before deciding.

I wonder if the reverse light is as bright as the Oracle. They look pretty good. After 3 different Oracle flush mount on my JL got replaced under warranty, I have a set, sitting in a box in my garage. I love the light, when it works. I’m not sure that I’ll put them back on. I have factory LED. The back up light sucks. Now every time my wife throws her Gladiator in reverse I get jealous.
So, product review ? We have heard that customer service is not perfect, but how is the light ? I know it’s not the original issue for this thread, but I think it’s a good follow up. Thanks

I, like you, have two sets of Oracle taillights sitting in the garage because they were originally bought for my 2020 sport s with halogen lights. They worked perfect replacing the halogens. Then due to the corrosion issues I traded in the 2020 for a2024 Willys with LED & Blind Spot sensors. Oracles don't work with BS sensors even after warranty replacements. So I bought a set of these Morimoto's, The BS sensors work great, lights work great, The revers lights are Much Brighter than stock, but not quite as bright as the Oracle's, but close. Hope this helps...

The reverse lights are definitely brighter than the halogen tail lights these replaced. I opted not to get the Morimoto license plate mounted reverse light, because it didn't seem necessary for normal use. I'm sure like a lot of people, my original plan was to buy the Oracle lights, but I saw these and liked them a little better. I think they look nicer in person than the picture I posted shows.

The magnet on the resistor is pretty strong. I doubt it'll move at all, and I placed in on the bottom of the housing area instead of on the vertical surface. The whole install took less than 20 minutes. I installed a Mopar fuel door at the same time, which was 10x more difficult.

Thanks for that. I remember installing the Mopar fuel door too and it was a bugger. But I've never regretted it. I've decided to install the lights and will provide feedback after they're in. Thanks again.
