I was dragging along the frame and rails on JB. The trail was in rare form that day.

I feel like if I hit them, then there’s going to be a pretty long section of frame I’m going to be hitting as well..
doesn’t seem like I’ve gotten stuck because of them, or when I am stuck it’s because I’m dragging way too much frame/high-centered anyway. I’m a fan of them but it’s a hot topic for sure.

what do you guys think would work better? mopar LCAs or stockers? i have 2" dynatrac lift plus .5" spacer.
If you use the longer LCA you may have to play with UPA placement on bracket to get your caster set properly. I know couple folks on here using another brand bracket had issues using mopar lift LCAs. Just may take a couple test fits in upper or middle mounting location for UCAs to determine what works best.

i almost purchased these brackets during their sale last week till i found this thread. per their website they rate the install as "easy" and 2 hours, yet you guys are all saying it was a major pita. reading reviews of other geo brackets i dont see any complaints like that.
id prefer to go with MC as i hope to eventually swap to a gamechanger lift some day. i really like MC's quality of their products but these reviews have me thinking maybe another brand for this part....
@Metalcloak any input on the disparity?
I’ve put these brackets on a number of different Jeeps and never had an issue. 2 hour easy install if done right. The trick is to loosen off all 4 control arms both ends but do not remove. Only remove one side at a time as per the instructions. Then when putting back together fit the upper CA into the 2.5” lift (top) hole in the bracket to start. The bolts will line up easily. Once both sides are mounted then you can adjust to whichever adjustment hole you need.

I installed a set of these in a coffee shop parking lot one evening during a Jeep meet. Keeping all 4 wheels on the ground is also easier then trying to do them on a lift.

Update for anyone that comes across this thread looking for info on these.

Since install I got the Jeep properly aligned with a 4x4 shop. Fairly dialed in there.

I just completed a 1600 mile round trip from Sacramento to Moab. This routes through the Sierra Mountain pass, I80 and 50, spent 3 days on the White Rim Trail. The rig used to “float” on the windy mountain roads - this is absolutely gone. Wind gusts blowing it off the road - this isnt as bad (had a rtt on top so…). Off road its just as capable. I’m running a 2.5in lift on 37s. We didn’t do any rock crawling but I had no clearance issues.

Aside from the brutal install, I’d highly recommend these. Absolutely transformed the driving ability on pavement.

Glad to get an update. I just wish they made these front/rear for the 2024 392, but since it's such a small run I assume they will not make them for mine.

What’s different about the 2024 392? Believe same as all others and should work

Per metal cloak:
None: Due to a frame bracket change the HD Control Arm Pro'lignment Kit will not work on 2024+ JL Wranglers or JT Gladiators.

So this does give me hopes that they will make one for the front since it's ALL 24+

For the rear:
Note: The DB3 is not compatible with the 392 JL Wrangler

I run them on my XR and all my past Jeeps as well. Wouldn’t have a lifted Jeep without them.

These brackets were a bear to install on my 22 JT. Getting the upper spacer sleeves lined up was just about impossible - had to bend the inside part of the stock rear UCA bracket several times on each side to make enough space that I could hammer the sleeve into place from below. Then the bolt for the passenger upper kept falling into the frame rail and require an hour-long fishing expedition with a baling wire hook, ugh. (Diesel exhaust means it’s impossible to insert the bolt from the inside out, once the bracket is in place). And getting the passenger lower beveled screw to line up required a ratchet strap pulling the bracket sideways at a particular angle before the threads would catch. Driver side, beveled screw went in loose first, but totally impossible on the passenger side.

Anyway my raw hands and shoulders and elbows are recovering. Only driven on pavement so far but it’s like everyone says, better bump compliance, less harshness, less body shudder, less brake dive, more stable. Well worth it
