I put some KO2's on Willy's wheels on my Sahara. Was wondering if anyone has a pic of the recommended tire pressure from a Rubicon.

The tires are 285/70/17 KO2's. Discount tire filled them to like 48psi, but I think that is way to high - anyone have a pic of the tire badge from a vehicle that has KO2's from the factory?

I checked in the manual and it is not there unless I missed it. Thanks in advance!

i have 37" ko2 and i find that 30psi works best for me. I cant speak to what works best in the smaller size but i can tell you 48 is wayyyy too high.

I believe the recommended is 37 psi, but I keep mine a little lower at 35 psi cold.

You should run the chalk test to find the best PSI for your setup.

Search YouTube for "tire pressure chalk test" - super easy to do.

I ran my 35” K02 around 30-34PSI.

My 37s have much less wobble on the round at 26psi cold.

35 cold is where my chalk test came in

40+ is going to be too high, as others have said the door jamb sticker is 37 - though I would say experiment with it and find what drives best for you. I settled at 35 cold for mine. I don't think the TPMS will trigger unless you are below 30

37 is what the Rubicon spec is and the factory knows what they’re doing. I run that whenever I’m not aired down. There’s more wear on the edges than the tread center even so, although that’s probably all the twisty CO roads. I corner somewhat quickly.

Rim width plays a major factor in contact area
Agree; but I am running 17x8.5 wheels and can in no way come close to full contact at 35PSI. I am not even at full contact at 30PSI, but I will not go lower than that. Others running K02's have reported similar with similar width wheels.

Then again, he has a propensity to and is very adept at finding unicorns...
