Lmao. This forum is great. It's literally thousands of shitposts hammering literally every point from buying process to owning. Hundreds of people bitching and whining about the brand.

Some dude comes on and does the exact same thing but gets piled on? Why you ask?
Because misery loves company but if you don't actually have the thing in your possession, you have no voice. You need to learn to suffer a bit like the rest of us slobs. THEN you can bitch and drop key words like "FCA and Stellantis"

You also need to create one post after you get it asking it a specific tire size will fit with no lift. Then, once you get told no, create another thread asking what the best lift you can buy for "offroading once a year or so grabbing groceries in a snow covered parking lot"

THEN you may create a post shitting on Jeep because you've EARNED it.

:)

Op, it's coming. You're going to love it. Unless you hate it.

On another note, in the news today it was announced that FexEx and UPS are going to merge. The new company is reported to be named FedUP.

But why a Bronco? As mentioned to death, Ford has been experiencing worse supply chain issues and $10k dealer added markups (Google Bronco dirt mountain, Bronco ice mountain, Bronco ADM)

OP had a great experience with Lexus/Toyota. Should probably consider buying another Lexus/Toyota. Depending on budget, either a 4Runner or Lexus GX should be able to do 90% what anyone uses their Jeeps for.

OK here’s my rant: I ordered a 2023 Willy’s jeep on June 16th. The estimated delivery date was Sept 2, 2023. That date has come and gone. FCA says my jeep is built but does not have a ship date yet. You guys might not think $53K is big money, but I sure do. Last year I bought a brand new fully loaded Lexus that came from the factory in 6 weeks. Lexus treats me like I’m golden. They kept me informed on my cars progress and they stuck to the schedule. I would expect the same common courtesy from FCA.
Contact your dealer man. Mine says it hasnt shipped yet on the pizza tracker but my dealer has an estimated delivery of today - 9/26…. Jeeps tracking is terrible, last year I reached out via Jeep Chat and they said my build was in the “gathering parts“ stage. It showed up at the dealership a couple days later.

Thanks for the post. I still have the Lexus and I run my Jeeps hard. I bent the Frame on my last jeep. Hence I’m ordering this one.

I want to love Jeep, but FCA makes it so difficult. I am ready to cancel my 2023 jeep order and go visit the Bronco dealer. Shame on FCA for wrecking what should be a great experience. FCA it’s not that hard to do better, especially since I’m spending $53,000 on a new vehicle. I’m bummed out!
OP you worked hard for your $$. You deserve to be happy. There are many Ford dealers that will make you feel special and will gladly process your new Bronco order. They will treat you as customer #1.

I hope you do follow thru on your post and cancel your 2023 Jeep order. If Ford makes you happy then we will be happier.

Ok I gotta bounce. I didn’t post my frustration with FCA so you guys could insult me. I continue to believe FCA can and should do better. I’m outta here!
My point exactly. FCA can and should do better!
So if i am reading correctly what your saying is the FCA can and should do better?

You do know that FCA no longer exists?

Didn't you say that it's already built?

Stellantis (there's no FCA anymore) did its job, but as others have stated it's in the hands of shipping companies now. Not Stellantis, and definitely not a nonexistent FCA.

p.s. apologies for everyone referring to you as a guy. I'm thinking that that's incorrect.

We all have different expectations for various services. Some are realistic. Some are from a position of privilege and entitlement. The customer is always right mentality isn't really true.

The OP may have a point about the lack of communication. That is strictly with the dealership the OP is working with. The fact that their Jeep wasn't delivered "on time" really isn't the fault of Jeep or the dealership. Once the Jeep is built it is out of the hands of the manufacturer for it to get delivered by a certain date.

My job is related to the construction industry. Lead times for many common construction items are still far, far longer than pre-pandemic. Structural steel joists are near a year. Commercial back-up generators are over a year. Electric service entrance switchgear is over a year. Commercial rooftop mechanical equipment is 30 weeks (typically 8-12 weeks pre-pandemic).

Given my knowledge of these things, I appreciate that many of us can get a fully built jeep in 3-4 months as still pretty impressive.

I understand that not everyone can have the same perspective and is not aware we are still a long way from things being back to normal (if it ever happens) as far as the supply chain is concerned. That said I don't have a great deal of sympathy for someone's whining because they have been inconvenienced without an acknowledgment that many are in the same position or in many cases much worse off.

At least yours is built...I ordered mine on June 10th and has YET to go into production. No rhyme or reason, just need to be patient. I work for a group of auto dealers at our Honda location and they have yet to send us CR-V's that were supposed to be built in May, let alone these cars show up 1-3 weeks late of their scheduled deliveries...just the way of the world now.

I ordered my *'21* in August of last year. It was delivered 2 weeks before Christmas... 4-1/2 months... and since then waiting times have gotten longer. It's not a secret.

I noticed an error (black seat instead of tan) on my order right before they shipped it. The dealer offered to reorder it as a '22. I took it as it was rather than risking another 6 months.

And we're ALL aware of lead times in general. I don't know how anybody can be surprised at long lead times. We're ALL dealing with it.

By the way, for the past 4 years or so, due to a shortage in drivers, shipping containers have been sitting in the train yards for ~3 weeks before they're able to get to them. The train lines are also cutting back workers' hours even though they've had record profits (I've got a friend who works for the trains in Chicago... they are currently negotiating a new contract).

Big corporations everywhere are bringing in huge profits at the expense of good service... and we are too divided politically to fight back against them.

What did you expect to get from this post? Thousands of folks on here have already been through this process. Patience is key, of which you have none. Move on…you’d be better off in a Bronco. Have a nice day.

I'm a 2020 Bronco reservation holder with a Jan '21 order that still hasn't even had a sniff of getting scheduled to build yet... Best of luck to you if you go that route. I bought my JLR, am loving it and am undecided if I will even buy the Bronco at all if and when it does get built.
