I don’t think it’s bad to hold FCA to a higher standard. Everyone on this forum should encourage FCA to do better. This will be my 3rd new Jeep Wrangler, so I’m not new to the process. I bent the frame on my last jeep. Oops. It’s a great brand and could be even better if FCA would just engage a little more when someone orders a new jeep.
Exactly, on the FAD, ESS, paint hinge corrosion - things FCA has control over. FCA doesn't follow this forum.

Reading this thread is like watching the Karen episode on South Park.

WTF is wrong with you. If wanting FCA to do better is acting like a Karen, then I will proudly wear that badge. Once again FCA, Can and should do better for their customers. That’s my opinion and I don’t care if you agree.

If you are this bent out of shape not being treated like "gold" with your aforementioned Lexus touch pre sale, you will soil your britches post sale WHEN something goes wrong with your JL.
Strap in lady.

Totally agree.
There's nothing wrong with wanting more transparency about the order/delivery process, I've advocated as much elsewhere around here. But to say you're "Fed Up" when your circumstances are so much better than so many others around here, is myopic and insensitive at best. So don't be surprised when your posts don't spark the kind of rallying cry you'd hoped for. You've got a built Jeep somewhere that will find its way to you even if it's not as fast as you'd like.

OK here’s my rant: I ordered a 2023 Willy’s jeep on June 16th. The estimated delivery date was Sept 2, 2023. That date has come and gone. FCA says my jeep is built but does not have a ship date yet. You guys might not think $53K is big money, but I sure do. Last year I bought a brand new fully loaded Lexus that came from the factory in 6 weeks. Lexus treats me like I’m golden. They kept me informed on my cars progress and they stuck to the schedule. I would expect the same common courtesy from FCA.
Not sure why I'm wading in but here goes.

Dude chill. You are very lucky to have your jeep be built. I'm just shy of 6 weeks post ordering, and I have yet to even receive a VIN (and I'm not even a worst case scenario story!). I have no idea when it will come, let alone if I will get a VIN before the end of the year.... I too have had near zero communication from Jeep/FCA/Stellantis or whatever you wanna call it. My dealer told me to bugger off a couple of weeks ago, and that they would be in touch when/if any updates happened..... you wanna know the kicker? I paid $70k for my jeep... In my mind that is well within luxury vehicle territory (obvi a jeep is anything but), and an ass full of money.... It will be the single biggest purchase I will have made in my life. Probably will continue to be so unless I'm lucky enough to purchase a house one day (not counting myself very lucky with current housing market...).

Get over yourself, shit happens, jeep has absolutely zero control over the delivery of your jeep as it's well out of their hands once it has been built. Also, you are positioned in a much better place than many of the people who are waiting on orders. Complaining about your circumstances will not get you any kind of sympathy (in case you hadn't picked up on that already).....

Yep- also agree on room for improvement. Example, Builds are delayed for lack of options (concluded all weather mats at the time mine was built) . They should notify the buyers and give them the choice of eliminating or changing the back ordered option so you’re build can be done. Communicate, it shouldn’t be that tough.

Then go buy another Lexus.

There are literally hundreds of pages of information on the sporadic build and deliveries of the 22 and 23 MY Wranglers and you choose to publicly complain that your jeep HAS BEEN BUILT?!

Not to make him feel any worse, but @Opus has been scheduled for almost 60 days with no movement (sorry buddy).

Also, there are plenty of folk here who's orders were delivered without ever receiving a shipping or arrival date notice.

Best of luck.
My point exactly. FCA can and should do better!

I'm sorry, but comparing Lexus to FCA is like comparing salt with sugar.

How can you possibly expect a similar experience??

Lexus is a luxury brand, go ask a Toyota owner how much "golden" treatment they get. They are sister companies, but don't even tell me you expect to get the Lexus "golden" treatment if you buy a fully loaded $76K Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro...good luck with that ?

Expecting FCA/Stellantis to provide some sort of "Lexus" golden treatment for a Jeep vehicle is only going to make you rant more.

But, it's your rant. Rant away, just don't expect too much sympathy ?

Dude, there’s people here who are still waiting for 2022 orders from early this year. In all likelihood your Jeep will be in your driveway soon. I’d gladly trade positions with you.

Correct—Toyota (4R-Camry) on par, Ford (Bronco) worse, Lincoln (LS) a little better. Low volume, high profit “ Luxury cars” you get the lounge and more personal attention, at a price. Makes me wonder how they intended to market Wagoneers?
