Dealer said no codes, they have no clue. I’ll try the leaving it at red line for an hour in the driveway and see if that cleans it out

I don’t have an issue with it requiring the engine when it’s below freezing, but today it’s 65 and still not working.

Growing pains with the electric adoption, I’m sure they’ll eventually fix but would be nice if they retrofit an update for existing owners. Should be a mode you can enable to refresh oil in the driveway.
Can you rev your engine while parked? I noticed that when I'm parked and idling, if I try to rev the engine, it only goes up to maybe 1100 rpms max. I just figured it's a 4xe thing.

LOL, at 2000 miles it doesn’t need an oil change.

I had a recent oil change, and it doesn’t work.
It works for the vast majority of people, to the point where Jeep had to put out a notice reinforcing not to just reset the oil monitor to clear out FORM without actually doing an oil change because of dealers recommending that. I get that it didn't work in your case, but the behavior in your situation is not consistent with what normally happens.

You really think it's really monitoring the fuel/oil or actually just a crappy algo that tracks engine starts vs operating temp time (and time since refuel). The engineers prescribed a very conservative range, and probably will revise after more testing.

I don't think that there is an actual sensor actively measuring fuel levels in the oil. It's far more likely to be an algorithm that's looking at outside temps, oil temps, run times, etc to make estimates.

With that said, many people in FORM have reported increased oil volumes, smell of fuel in the oil, and oil analysis that's been performed shows higher fuel concentrations, so it is at least justified.

Regardless of if it's justified or not, resetting the oil monitoring system in all but one or two cases I've heard of, kicks people out of FORM (which is totally consistent with what you'd expect from an oil sensor *or* an algorithm to do). The people that I've seen (other than Sentience) that have not had an oil change kick them out of FORM have been people that changed the oil but did not reset the oil monitor at the same time. Likewise, many people have reported being kicked out of FORM when resetting the oil monitor without actually changing the oil.

What I haven't ever seen is any evidence from someone stuck in FORM that suggests there isn't fuel in the oil and that FORM isn't justified. There totally may be things going on leading to more fuel in the oil, sooner than expected, that need dealt with, but I'm yet to see anything definitive (like say, oil analysis from someone stuck in FORM showing little to no fuel dissolved in the oil) pointing to FORM being uncalled for.

Confirming somebody else - yes, max idle appears to be 1100 RPM, weird to not be able to rev it in park or neutral.

I left a brick on the peddle for last 30 minutes while it about 32F out and the oil temp shows 210F. I'll keep it running there for a while longer and then do a fuel fillup, see if that fixes anything. At this point I'm mainly curious.

I think the 4xe has an auto shut down feature at about 25-30 minutes of idling. Put it in drive every 15-20 minutes or so to keep it idling.

What a refreshingly positive attitude. I agree.

The brick on the pedal should override that for better or worse

Brick does not override, it eventually turned off with that on it in Park which surprised me.

Idled above 200F for like 45 mins, new fresh tank of fuel, drove another 20 mins.. still stuck in FORM. Not sure what else to do, it’s only got 2200 miles on it, dealer said no codes.

Idle it some more and let it go. I know mine took at least 35 minutes. It may have been longer. I kind of lost track of time as I sat in a parking lot waiting on some women to do women stuff.
