The Wrangler is the Honda Civic of SUVs. The Goober lights are the roof fins and the snorkel is the giant double-decker wing. They’re accessory platforms.

When pimped out, they’re both perfectly at home backed into a parking spot in the employee portion of a Walmart parking lot.
I fully agree that personalizing Jeep's can be synonymous with Civics. Same goes for Harleys and AR's. Depending on how a specific Jeep has been modified, will determine what it can be compared to. Some that look like they are owned by someone who's also into civics, and some that looked owned by someone into AR-15's.

Respectively...

I save all my unpleasantness for the mean and dangerous people in the world,
I’m mean. And dangerous. References can be provided if necessary. Feel free to direct the unpleasantness my way! ?

I’ll keep my mouth shut… :lipssealed:….on how I feel about these lights on wranglers because of the “to each their own “ policy that social conventions dictates we use on here……

But want to Thank you guys for educating me that there’s a reason for them. Now that I know this……. my feelings on these on Jeep’s…….:lipssealed:

There's a JK in my neighborhood who has decided that mounting a 3-amber light bar on his hood a good idea. I think it's tied into his ignition or DRLs too because it's always on. And it's a yellow Jeep ... not a good color combination: amber on yellow.
Your neighbor after reading this post:
“Oh well, I suppose he can’t borrow my lawnmower any more!” ?

I sure hope those are available soon
As Jeep owners we have more silly addon options than any other vehicle
So we may as well have even more silly lights !

I know you’re kidding on the mean half of your statement.

Dangerous is a good thing. We should all aspire to be dangerous.

Mean, on the other hand, is reserved for cowards and the mentally ill — the people who spread a little misery everywhere they go and reduce everybody else’s quality of life.

Having more dangerous but kind people in the mix raises the cost of doing business for those other assholes. It also introduces them to justice, and makes the world a better place for everybody else, including those who don’t want the risk and responsibility that comes with being dangerous. ;)

In the high desert areas from central to eastern Oregon it’s still possible to drive fifty or sixty miles without seeing another vehicle, particularly after about 10:00 at night. Having a light package like this makes the drive more comfortable and less stressful, because you can see. They may attract suicidal jack rabbits, but they help you see the larger critters, like cows, deer, and elk, that can ruin your day. I’ve had plenty of lights on my rigs since Daylighters first became a thing in the 70s, but the new LEDs are a level of small-and-bright I couldn’t have imagined back then.
