Just ask @cosine he knows!
No regrets here! Both my jeeps, 99 Sahara and 21 rubicon are 2 doors. If I need a 4 door for any reason, ill take the wife's Camry.... Jeeps look weird with 4 doors imo.
I think age comes into play to, being almost 60 I grew up w/ mainly small 4x4s w/ the exception of the gunboat Blazers, Ramchargers, Wagoneers. The 2 door Jeep will always be in my comfort zone as far as looks and function, and not needing any more room than a 2 door offers makes it easy to have no regrets :) The 4 dr Jeeps are certainly super-capable, and can do some things that the 2dr has a tough time with, luckily I just don't need to run in to those situations. But then again, I have a winch and reverse so hopefully that will be enough if I do :)

With the popularity of the 2-door Bronco, Jeep would be extremely foolish to plan 'The Jeep's' demise...
It will be interesting to see what the 2-door Bronco take rate is compared to the Wrangler 2-door?

Yes it will, however considering there are not that many on the roads yet, I see a pretty good ratio of 2-door to 4-door Bronco's in the Phoenix area.

I just saw my first 2-door Bronco on the street here in Chicago 3 days ago. A yellow with hard top. It looked pretty good. It also looked huge compared to my JLR. Probably perception due to the Bronco's huge hood?

Nope. 10/10 would for sure get another 2 door.

It is a big ass hood, I drove one a while back and just did not fall in love with it. However, if Jeep quit making 2-doors I would likely get a 2-door Bronco.

I seriously considered a 2-door Bronco sight unseen. Then I saw one at the auto show. Then I test drove a 4-door at a dealer. I was let down by the interior styling and the lack of perceived quality. LOTS of thin plastic rubbing and making noise. Stuff like the HUGE grab handles and interior trim. The hard top and soft top were both bad. I might give it another look after a couple of years. After they work out the initial production QC issues.

Love the maneuverability of the two door, space is fine with rear seats removed. My kids are grown, so I don’t have to worry about that. Honestly mines a one seater. My wife also drives a 2 door and we do take them both on outings. Nice having two rigs to be our own recovery team, plus double storage capacity?? my Jeep is my fun mobile weekend warrior, lives in the garage all week, so it’s a toy. Wife daily’s hers but she works from home. I have two other trucks and a company truck all with 4 doors if ever the need arises. So any regrets? Absolutely not. Love it!

We drove from San Antonio to Nashville last month. I regretted the 2 door while unloading the hitch mounted rack in the blowing snow for about 5 minutes. After that, I poured a splash of Bourbon, warmed up and was back to happy with my 2 door.

No regret with a 2 door, absolutely love them. I really like the 4 door as well. I am lucky enough that I have both, and the 2 door is a TJ, which I drive most often. There are pros and cons to both, but the 2 door is what I grew up with and definitely symbolizes Jeep IMO.
I think your automobile “needs” would come into play in the decision between the two (space needed, off road use, on road use, etc…) no wrong answer if you ask me.

Ordered my first Jeep last week. Yes, a two door. Have four door Tacoma if need more space. Anyways, how heavy is the rear seat in the two door JL?
I would say close to 80 lbs give or take.It is a tight fit and cumbersome to remove.I took mine out the first week and likely will never put it back in. I don't remember the rear seats in my previous Jeeps being that heavy....but I have aged....lol

Hi John! I have been following your adventures since you got your JLR. I believe you are probably one of the most active members on the forum who wheel hard. You have experienced most of the strengths and weakness of the JL. What are your thoughts about the strengths and weakness? What could Jeep improve upon in your opinion?

No regrets at all. My third two door, the first two with two kids.I completely understand those who need the extra space a four door provides. I was so glad Jeep kept building the two door Sport's for those of us who pinch pennies....lol

Only 2-door regret is I wish it had a V8! Now if the factory only offered my Dream Jeep below...

How hard would it be to take a base and make your own Trailcat?

Obviously have to be a $$$ is no object build, but just asking
