That said, I did receive a more detailed update from my dealer. He says it's "In Transit - Delay."

Looking at the code, it's KZLD. With the following traffic codes, could KZLD mean KZ OD "mechanical failure, glass damage, vehicle in repair, lacking parts or storage hold?"



Traffic Codes:
KZ L = released but not shipped
KZ M = first rail departure
KZ N = first rail arrival
KZ O = delayed/received
KZ OA = plant hold, quality audit
KZ OB = zone, dealer, sales, vehicle prep, tax, diversion or derailment hold, dealer refusal, vehicle diverted
KZ OC = carrier delay, strike-bound, emission or safety hold, rail car shortage, bad or insufficient load, inclement weather, need shipping order, manifest error
KZ OD = mechanical failure, glass damage, vehicle in repair, lacking parts or storage hold
KZ OE = misdropped or misshipped vehicle
KZ OF = shipped air freight, stolen vehicle recovered, show vehicle, test info code, vessel sailed
KZ OG = damaged vehicle, stolen vehicle, abandon to carrier, vehicle scrapped, donate vehicle, repair and auction

If I had to guess it's a shipping thing; either no room on the train or a driver shortage. That what most people are seeing for delays.

IIRC mine was in a similar stage and it was just a delay due to not having enough units to fill the railcar.

10/10 and mine just got finished on the Assy line, awaiting shipping. It’s so random how they decide what is built. Biggest mystery on this forum for sure!

Yep, been in D1 since 12/20 (per dealer and Jeep chat).

If you or your dealer clicks on the KZLD, it will tell you exactly where it is. I can see on mine where it left the factory 1/18, arrived at the custom shop 1/19, left the custom shop on 1/23 and left the gate this morning (1/24) at 8:35 am. Also state that the ETA window is from 1/31 to 2/14.
