So Im told I should expect my 21 rubicon to finally be delivered in January 22!! I ordered that jeep way back in July. I am pretty pissed off at the whole process and quite frankly, my brand new jeeps value has depreciated and its not even been driven a mile yet! This makes me angry and I feel Im owed something for this b.s. --I am definitely going to ask for something extra for my inconvenience, extremely long wait and jeep that is now a model year older. What can I expect realistically from the dealer? I want something to take the sting out of this whole process. Money off the final price? Cash back incentives? I m thinking a brand new set of bf Goodrich Mk3......what Would you guys ask for and what do you think the dealership should do for me? After all, don't they want to cultivate a long lasting relationship with a new customer? Customer satisfaction??.....

Did the dealer really enter your order or did they forget to press the "send" button? 5-6 months for an order seems too long since many others have received their Jeeps in much shorter time.

The dealer has nothing to do with how long it took to get built. They are probably more frustrated than you that their bread and butter supply has been severely strangled. If you refuse, they will sell it for more than you are buying it for, so they probably won't blink if you give them a demand. The most I would ask for is a Mopar extended warranty at dealer cost, if you intend to keep it past the factory warranty that is.

The upside is that you trade value will be considerably higher down the road because you will have a year less mileage on it than average.

I'm often occupied, by many things, often at the same time
They don't owe you anything, but I'd try to get a keychain or something out of them.

I agree with others that you shouldn't expect anything.

Reach out to your dealer and tell them to cancel the '21 and order you a '22. Or just tell them you don't want the '21 and to order you a '22. Then they can decide what to do about the '21.

Wonder if you would even get a '21 as they are slated to start building '22s next week.

Man, they were just providing the courtesy of enough lead time to get all your aftermarket parts in.
