Confused on delivery date

So, I ordered my JL on 6/29. 6-8 week delivery estimate. No problem.

Yesterday, 7/27 (4 weeks to the day, that I ordered at dealer) I get an email from Jeep saying that they received my order and it would be 6-8 weeks to deliver.

So the previous 4 weeks don’t count? Anyone else have this happen?

Yes, I have messaged my sales person for clarification.

No worries, I received that same email yesterday too (ordered 6/15) and my jeep has been confirmed on the train as we speak with a delivery date to the dealer on August 3rd. Sounds like jeep just sent out a batch email to all.

I have not gotten any emails from Jeep about my order, but I don't know if they even have my email address. The dealer has it for sure, but I have never registered at jeep.com for anything. Interesting...

I never registered either, they must have gotten it from the dealer

Got the same email and it scared me for a minute. I think it was a mass email.
