I feel Im owed something for this b.s. --I am definitely going to ask for something extra for my inconvenience, extremely long wait and jeep that is now a model year older. What can I expect realistically from the dealer?

Jeep dealers are egalitarian that way: whether you buy a $25,000 Compass or a $120,000 Grand Wagoneer, everyone gets treated the same: like shitty peasants.

Not really the dealer at fault. I doubt they are going to do much but say sorry. I mean they have no power over it unless they didn't order right away when you put it in. Sucks for sure, but at least it is not a Volvo its a Wrangler with the highest resale value of any production auto out there.

According to one report they had a serious shortage of 6spd manuals. I am not expert on that though but they were very slow to build.
