What side steps / rock rails to add to JL Wrangler?

I recently put them on my wifes Jeep for her and the kids(She's 5'1, and the kids are all under 10), she absolutely loves them especially now with the 2.5" lift. I plan on getting another set for myself in the near future, but she insisted on her getting wheels/tires first...

Ordered the Roam Steps today. Can’t wait to get them installed.

My only thing is that I don't like the ROAM logo cutout in the pinch seam area, but I love the idea of led lights. The LoD destroyers don't have a logo cutout in the pinch seam, which is a plus, but it didn't have led lights. If they do make theirs with an integrated led light kit for the JL then they get my money. Sorry ROAM, I just don't like the logo cutout. If you didn't have that, I'd buy yours in a heartbeat.

How about adding a black plate behind the name?

I had my wife try out the steps last night and she loved them. Made it much easier for her to get in/out, and watching her it will help prolong the life of the leather... No longer does she slide over the bolsters, she just drops into the seat. All the kids were asleep when I got home, but I will update you once I have them try the steps.

Install is very easy, I have yet to wire up the lights as I just finished the rear bumper yesterday(Needed to wire the lights/camera on that first so I could drive the Jeep again.)
The lights point at the steps like the picture above. I am going to try and wire them into the dome light when I get some free time at work.

That's why I ordered this seat cover, to save the leather.

LoD Signature series are now available. The Destroyers actually won’t be out for another 3 weeks.

Although my JLU is still in stage "I" (for over a week now), I ordered the Roam side steps yesterday. Thanks to the info on this forum, they looked perfect for my needs. I'm still curious what the LED's look like at night-- so if anyone has them hooked up, maybe they could post a night pic....

Sorry if this is an obvious question, but I cannot see for certain. Are the Roam steps also sliders or just steps? I am trying to decide between them and Ace for my JLUR. I definitely want strong body protection sliders, but real steps would be nice for the fam.

Good question revisited--if the Roam steps serve as sliders too? Maybe ask Anthony (his e- is a previous post). I think he discussed their build, but not sure he specifically answered this question...

I emailed them and they said they are sliders as well. I like the steps, but I worry about the durability as true sliders. I think I am going ace.

Okay, that's good you clarified that. The Roam ones look great as side steps, and if they serve as sliders as well, they seem a good value...

Just wanted to share another photo of the @ROAM sliders on my wifes JL. I think they look a lot better with the new wheel/tire combo.
I should have another set in the near future for my personal JL, and I will try and see if they hold up to the forklift test(lifting the Jeep by the actual steps/sliders.) My wife would kill me if she found out I did that to hers
