Hi,

Does anyone know a way to just add some steps to the JLUR without removing the standard rock slider / protection ?

Thanks !

I thought for sure by now there would be plenty of easily removable steps, that can be left on for city driving, and removed for off roading, leaving you with just the Rubicon slider. But, there seems to be shockingly little on the market meeting that description. Most solutions seem to involve removing the Rubicon slider, and replacing it with something else entirely.

Complete neophyte when it comes to DYI. I know I should be able to install the Ace sliders to my Rubi. But I just don’t understand the directions. Do you re use the OEM bolts and washers? There long enough to accommodate the Rubi sliders and the ace sliders? Would I be able to do this with hand tools? And could I do this myself if I had a bucket supporting the opposite end?

I just purchased them. They are frame mounted.
Look at the install video. That long bolt that they are removing? That's a body mount screw. And the front one has Loctite.
