Don't do it. The largest tire I had on my stock Sahara was 295/70/17 and those were on a 17x9 wheel with a +18 offset for clearance. Currently I have a 3.5 lift with the same wheels and 315/70/17 KO2's.

The most you can go without a lift on a Sahara is 295/70/17 on a 17x9 wheel and +18 offset. I had no rub or clearance issues. Since then, I have the same wheel and offset and added a 315/70/17 tire. My Sahara is also on a Teraflex ST3 / 3.5 inch lift. You can look at my side profile and...
LoD makes a plate holder for the front. You can find pics on their site under the installation files. If you plan on installing a winch, the bracket is held under your winch bolts. If no winch, you can install as a stand alone bracket.
Do not waste your time with a "fix" at the dealer. It will NOT work. Some who replace the glass at their own expense are still having this issue. This is garbage.
If the calculator shows that a +20 offset is good, then I think you are ok. The tire sizes you list are smaller in MM width so this is most likely why the calculator shows no rub. You can always pick 2 sizes and your local Discount tire can mount each one to test fit based on your set up.
If it helps, I was running 295 70 17 on my Stock Sahara and the wheels are +18 offset. You can search the forum under my name and see my pics. Since that time, I am now running a Tereflex ST3 3.5" suspension lift with the same wheels, same offset. The tires I have now are 315 70 17. I have...
I plan to Line X my front bumper as well. Its already starting to show wear from winter chemicals. If parts came with the Line-X, I would be happy, and companies could save a ton on returns and such...but its not cheap...
A few who bash others like you guys probably only drive on pavement 99% of the time. How you roll is your right. If you live in the mountains like me and off road often...great. If you roll down streets to get to the mall or whatever...so be it. The fact that you own a JL is a blessing. How...
