Thank you! Here is the listing of the vehicle.Welcome to the forum!
The Moab Edition was VERY nice, but Rough Country is usually cheap.
If you can provide a link to the vehicle, we will be able to be more helpful.
Good luck
Good catches!Looks like it's a spacer lift from the front springs. RC N3 Nitros with the shock body color. Current lift cost $350.
35x12.50s squeezed on stock rims, no personal experience with the Kelly Edge M/T.
Yeah, I was thinking the final price ought to be closer to $40,000. Perhaps $42,000-$42,500 if one were to allow for the rarity of the MOAB package. For reference, I paid $46.5K for my '21 Sahara Altitude ($53.5K sticker) back in July of this year. Brand new factory ordered.
That being said, the MOAB is a really, really killer package.
If you need something like, now, then see if you can negotiate closer to $40K.
If you're not in a huge rush for a vehicle, the '22 Order Banks should open up next week, and you'd be picking up in ~late January.
The install on the roof rack makes me think the owner wasn't big on following instructions. All in all, looks like the mods were done on a shoe string.
I would assume the check engine light is on because it is not running. Notice the tach at zeroGeneral comments:
Personally, I’d pass. Or get it for a hefty discount.
- MOABs were an excellent edition: it combined high-end Sahara comfort features, standard Selec-Trac, with Rubicon bumpers, rock rails, hood, wheels and tires. MOABs came fully loaded; I believe the only options were LEDs and the safety groups.
- Make sure the CarFax is clean
- Photo No. 9 shows the Check Engine Light (CEL) on; that’s never a good sign
- If I were selling my very expensive Jeep, I’d take it to the detailer to have it thoroughly cleaned. That filthy engine bay reveals a careless owner
- Don’t let any aftermarket mods distract your objective evaluation. Dealers don’t give anything for mods because it’s hard to tell if (a) they are good quality, and (b) they were properly installed. A Rough Country lift is not a good start IMO.
That and the fact that he/she couldn't be bothered to do a basic wash on his $45k jeep before posting the for sale ad speaks volumes. The install on the roof rack makes me think the owner wasn't big on following instructions.
He was asking $49,500 in the ad, probably more than he paid new. That and the fact that he/she couldn't be bothered to do a basic wash on his $45k jeep before posting the for sale ad speaks volumes.
