Hi friends. If you're needing a little JL porn, feel free to enjoy this (audio highly recommended). It was my first Hell's Revenge. It was amazing, brutal, beautiful, epic. Severely tested my new Asfir skid plates.

Great stuff! Looks like your (mostly) stock Rubi did great. Were you into your lockers much? I haven't done this trail yet in my (lifted on 35's) Sport but hope to one day.
Thanks, John. Looks like we might be neighbors. Let me know when you go; maybe I'd join. I did use my lockers a good bit, but mostly out of habit and to make me feel bullet-proof. I suspect I could have done 95% of it without the lockers. But I don't think I could have done it without the skid plates I added a few days before!

Nice video, thanks for sharing. Did you do the Escalator? I'm going to Moab for the first time in June and was wondering about that obstacle. Looks pretty intimidating even on video but lot of folks seem to walk up it. (have also seen some tip-overs though...)

Thanks. I actually didn't do any of the optional obstacles. I would consider Hells Gate and should have done Tip-over, but I had/have zero interest whatsoever in Escalator. There was a guy in a big buggy tipped-over on his side in that thing when I drove my second lap (day after I drove my first lap. ;) )

I have an oil pan skid and a transmission skid (both Asfir), and a Rough Country rear diff skid. I HAD a RC front diff skid as well, but when I got my oil pan skid, it was not compatible with the front diff skid. I was extremely grateful for the oil pan skid: I scraped hard on that thing a couple of times.

I will be adding AEV diff covers, and I have already added MC sliders. That will be about the extent of it for true protection. I did swap the rear bumper for an MC as my 1st mod. Saw too many stock height Jeeps (like me) getting body damage from under-hits to the stock steel rear bumpers.

I take that back; the winch was the true 1st exterior mod.

Love to see a couple pics of how your ASFIR plates held up.
Great video BTW.

Very cool. I think if I could get a rear locker I would give it a try. Always keeping an eye out for a rear off a rubicon to add to mine.

I'll be in Denver on Saturday with my top and doors off meeting some board game friends to play Forbidden Stars, wave if you see me! I'm not a dog, that is not me in my picture.
