I agree. Where did you get the wrap? I might consider doing a wrap on my rear fenders. They get hammered with rocks. Maybe I could wrap right over the chips and just replace it every year or two when it gets chewed up.

I've got a bunch of recommendations.

Feel free to buy for any vendor - doesn’t have to be the ones I’m linking to. A few of these items are offered by multiple different brands. For your privacy, I’ve stripped out all of the tracking and reference lines from the URLs.

handle guards
For folks that wear knuckled gloves and don’t want to accidentally scratch up their door. Black, non-glossy, matches the door trim perfectly.

https://www.amazon.com/TZUTOGETHER-Handle-Exterior-2018-2021-Wrangler/dp/B0928JPPMH/

sill guards
For folks that want the flexibility to be careless with where they step. And folks with younger kids. This style specifically includes the physical sill ridge, which the Mopar ones don’t protect.

https://www.amazon.com/Rugged-Ridge-11216-32-Black-Entry/dp/B07L5WBR66/

pet covers
Good for folks who get dirty, sweaty, or wet. Also good for pets. The front ones contours perfectly with the JL seats. Rear ones are close enough.

https://www.amazon.com/YesYees-Waterproof-Nonslip-Compatible-Armrest/dp/B07SX2NGYZ/

all weather floor mats
Mopar part number (6RV53TX7AA). This is specific to 4xe owners. Our mud mats have a different rear design than the standard one provided by Mopar. Make sure you use that part number. It’s probable most third party ones also have this issue. Buy at your own risk.

(Sorry, no link - all vendors appear back ordered atm. Expect to spend $150-200)

Soft material center console storage bags
I have a stupidly large number of keys on my keychain, plus several vehicle keys. These bags are an ideal place to quickly toss my keys after getting inside. The soft material doesn’t stick out like the ABS molded equivalents, and look a lot better.

universal pillow pad
I’m a tall guy - 6’5”. My right knee rests on the center console while I’m driving. There is no soft touch material there, an annoying oversight. These universal pillows are a relatively cheap fix, and a godsend on long drives.

dash cam
After nearly getting T-boned by a probable DUI, this became a requirement for any car I own. Aukey makes good ones, very reliable in extreme conditions, with a high quality (Sony) sensor. Make sure you pair it with an "endurance" rated SD card - ones specifically designed for dash cam use. I also pair mine with an OBDII power adapter, but specifically with the JL this isn't necessary, as the onboard USB ports shut down after one hour. Still, cleaner install.

Well.....this was an expensive thread. $200 X 35 different things I now want to buy for the Jeep that I haven't even bought yet!

Great suggestions.
I haven't even done anything major to my Jeep but the thread (and forum in general) is costing me a fortune because I keep buying new tools. You know, just in case. I mean, I'll eventually need to replace the headlight bulbs, so that impact driver will be really helpful. I may want to do my own oil changes and tire rotations, so the torque wrench is going to be important. And so on...

I'm blaming the impact wrench on my wife. She said she was going to order a kit to build a teardrop.

Sorry your having issues. I upgraded
I got this today and it's done nothing but constantly reboot, flake out, and ultimately cause CarPlay to go completely insane on the uConnect even with a hardwire connection now.

I am trying to update the FW, but if it doesn't improve I'll be sending mine back.

Has it continued to work well for you?

Mine has. Had to upgrade to the most recent FW but has worked great. Very rarely will disconnect and reconnect… maybe 1x a week. I only have one phone connected to it. Have it plugged in to the center console. Sorry your having issues.

Hood lock. Locking gas cap. Each keyed to Jeep key. The trial and error in Quadratec's video for the gas cap looked daunting. Organization and patience and a large area to work and write helped immensely. For the hood lock, I had to buy a big rivet gun.
