Went and checked out Juando Pass today. Gem of a short trail, rocks at the end could be easy lines or hard lines.
Funny been out on two trails and still living out of the hotel. Can’t wait to sign for housing tomorrow 😂😂
Not today, but yesterday got one last Redbird run in before we leave Indianapolis. It was a muddy mess, but it was a blast. Winch got a workout thanks to me trying a different line 🤣😂🤣
Granite JLU is my buddy Matt, taught him a lot about his Jeep and how to use his skids 😁
Both of mine are the same (2020 sports)
There has been mentioned before of some differences. Based on certain options, I recall front cam having something sitting directly under it.
Darn, 2 years away from worrying about emissions on the TJ.
White Sands is pretty cool. Always made sure to take the new guys there during our trips.
Yea been exploring OnX looks like some nice trails over by Las Cruces.
Bliss isn’t terrible, it isn’t great. It will definitely be a change...
Finally have some downtime as the packers do their thing on the house. TJ made the 1500 mile with nothing more than a fresh coat of oil on the underside. Normal for it. Though after 20 hours of combined highway driving on two days I had to try something different the beginning of day three...
Those brackets are so you can offset the solenoid pack if needed.
The disconnect is just resting/wedged between the battery and the fender. I have the same deal on my JLU and it has never moved.
Yup, right on the Texas/New Mexico boarder. Close enough I considered living in Las Cruces.
I have managed to avoid being stationed at Bliss for the 11 years I have been Air Defense, so penance is due. Plus, if the stars align I will be there for an academy slot.
Honestly, despite the heat...
Well, long overdue, but finally getting around to a thread to gather details for the move to El Paso (Ft Bliss). Move courtesy of the greatest fight force on Earth.
Pointers, especially about vehicle registration and inspection in Texas. Tracking El Paso is a smog county, not worried about the...
Thank you! I plan to continue to update as time goes by and it gets used.
Some of us have a multiple Jeep addiction and can’t afford 1500 winches. This seems Initially to be one of the better Chinese made options.
After a lot of back and forth I finally pulled the trigger on a winch for the JT. Had always planned on getting a Badlands Apex to match the JLU (been a great winch by the way), but the current pricing had me looking at other options. After reading a ton of Amazon reviews I settled on a Rugcel...
After spending a lot of time prepping the TJ for the impending PCS, the JLU and JT are getting jealous.
In addition to the stabilizer relocation I got the premium top installed. Windows have a few scratches from a PCS or two, but no complaints for free. Also, had a buddy give me a set of...
Got the AEV stabilizer relocated. Not sure how I feel about the synergy stud, may end up ordering a bracket. The stabilizer just kisses the tie rod at full right lock.
All done under Milo’s supervision.
Definitely a tragic accident. My condolences go out to the family.
I am going to say lack of seat belts was not the only cause here.
I drive curvy country roads at a decent speed daily, most of the warm months my doors are off. I can’t recall a single time I felt seat belt pressure holding me...
