I own a ‘24 JLRX, 3.6 HT.
Out in Winter Park, CO for a few days to visit my daughter and rented a Jeep to have here. I got a ‘23 JLU Sahara HT w 2.0T, base model level trim.
Radical differences. Yes, my payments are a lot higher than if I’d bought something like that. Hundreds I’m sure.
Don’t miss the money. I do miss the 4WD H auto on the wet/icy mountain pass roads. No Off-Road+, tiny antiquated looking display and navigation, highway tires, no sound insulation. No lockers. And I miss the 3.6, the sound is way better- Jeeps shouldn’t whine. The owners do that enough, lol. Plastic bumpers, no winch…
Take my money, gimme the goodies.

Well… you rented a Sahara. Apparently you don’t appreciate chrome, Sir.

Oh the irony of a JL owner talking about value. LOL.

The 2.0L is better here in CO. Less oxygen means less power for a naturally aspirated engine. Stick to FL.
It's OK, you can say it, the 2.0 is better, it's owners better looking, and they get laid more too

Haters are going to hate. Life choices people.

Also, as others have said, the turbo 4 banger is going to be better at higher altitudes, no matter the buzzing sound. I took my Diesel truck to Keystone Colorado one year, and the JL w/3.6 in it the next year. The Diesel was much better than the JL, the higher the altitude.

An Italian-designed, American-made, direct injection, mouse-sized, turbo-charged engine powering a 5,000 lb. brick.

What could possibly go wrong?
So far in 6 years apparently not a whole lot.

Some would say less than the v6

We'll find out and we'll be going pretty quick when we do! (Mine's an Italy made engine though, fancy and European!)
