I went with a pair of RC adjustable lower control arms. Good investment in that you can get castor dialed into the exact number you want (I went with 6.5), and you will also not need to replace if you go bigger down the road.

Are the RC any good though? Compared to say Teraflex or Clayton?

I have had zero issues with them whatsoever and the shop I use installs them a lot and have never had issues either. Sure, I wouldn’t go RC on many things, but adjustable control arms aren’t exactly complicated parts to make. ??

Thank you both for your replies. There is no need for me to change out the uppers or the rears correct? I am not planning on lifting my Jeep beyond what was done from factory.

Thanks. Before I purchase the adjustables, I may have an alignment check just to see where the caster is currently. Not sure how much caster is added by changing them out to the Mopar ones.

The Mopar LCAs are about 1/4” longer than stock. I’m not sure how much it affects the castor number but the handling difference is definitely noticeable.

100% agree there. Granted my wife says she cannot tell the difference between mine and hers lol. But I cant say its night and day from before I swapped them.

Just wanted to add another successful JL Rubi XR Mopar LCA swap. Agree night and day difference in drivability. Angle gauge on lower knuckle results looks like I picked up 2-3 degrees! Spend the $70 if your on the fence...Easy install & well worth it!

Is 8 degrees a little high for pinion angle? Looks like you had the magic 6 before the lca's?

This was the level gauge on my lower knuckle showing before and after numbers. I don't know what my exact caster number is but this shows that the longer Mopar arms definitely give you a increase. The arms really don't affect the pinion angle at all. All I know is that for my Jeep it made a "HUGE" difference in how it drives...

They are only about 1/8-1/4” longer but long enough to make a difference. For me it’s not the difference I wanted so I run MC drop brackets as well to dial it in and correct the geometry.

I ran the Mopar lift control arms 68322798AA on my 2 door Rubicon, they were great.
I tried to order them again and the parts dept told me they couldn't guarantee fit for my VIN, then changed my order to the stock arms. I had to send a few emails and make a couple calls before they ordered the correct ones. $35 each vs $113 for the stock arms, bargain of the century.
