I used a 1.5 spacer in mine with a 3/4 in the back and bfg 37s (wearing 35s in pic)

Sits pretty level and about 3" up bump and like 6.5 down with fox 3" shocks. Using full stroke.

A few more bump stop pics. This time passenger side. It’s a bit worse. I’m 140 pounds and can bottom it out by sitting on the bumper.

I had the same issue with the suspension as you. After having a steel bumper and winch installed I had no up travel left. The fix for me was the Clayton Offroad 2 1/2" Overland plus lift kit and Fox shocks. As easily as the coil springs collapsed I didn't feel spacers would be a real fix. I am happy with the fix but it does take the shine off the XR package.

How was the install of that lift kit and which shocks did you use? I've been wanting to add a new bumper and winch to my HT, but concerned about the extra weight as the suspension already seems pretty soft. I know some go the spacer route, but I'm more inclined to do something like you did to have a really good suspension setup.

I had the local shop install the lift so I don't know the particulars. I did get Fox 2.0's for that lift from COR. I had about a 1200 mile trip one way to get to CO and was plenty comfortable on the trip. It also handled very well on the trails. For me it was a good decision.

First, that HT looks awesome. Based of what I have seen here, the XR package it is not ideal if you are adding heavier bumper and winch set up. Not even my regular rubicon sagged that much. Plus having the longer bump stops makes it even worst. I think if you are not doing any mods, then is ok.

Beautiful ?. I ordered a Teraflex lift and some remote reservoir Falcons yesterday to solve my problems. I hope it looks as good as yours!

Went on another moderate/difficult trail and paid attention as I bounced along and am still impressed how well the suspension rides.
I’m really surprised at the difference between my XR experience and some of you that sagged to the bumps when adding a winch. I added winch and to be honest my front sits as high as the rear and I almost want a little more rake.
Perhaps Jeep is just throwing random springs at these and I got lucky and some of you didn’t ??‍. Even with 37’s installed mine doesn’t rub at full flex and only bottoms out if I’m going too fast and hit a huge bump. I’ll check my springs if there is a part number somewhere to see if mine are different than some here that sag.

I’m watching this thread because I have an ‘23 XR eT on order with same goals in mind and have become a little concerned. I ordered with steel bumpers and plan to add a winch, upgrade shocks, steering stabilizer and skid plates. Will likely also purchase a Rhino Rack and RTT (would not be installed full time). I ordered XR mostly for the underlying components and potentially not needing to lift. Looking at the last few posts with part numbers has me wondering if Tow Package plays a role in the sagging/not sagging? Could it potentially have stiffer springs as is sometimes the case with trucks I’ve owned. I don’t recall seeing anyone mention if they have it or not? Mine will have it.

The tow package makes it drop that much? I ordered one with plastic bumper and tow package thinking that it wouldn’t come with as much of a rake and I planned on adding spacers at the same time as adding a steel bumper.
