I, too, am very curious when this “gorilla glass” will be available because honestly our JL windshields are a joke. They knew the unusually steep angle and flat shape of the windshield would vastly increase the chances of rocks hitting it, yet they did not make the factory glass stronger, they did the opposite. Very disappointing indeed.

I got a quote from Safelite. $450 + tax. I think I'll just continue to rock the destroyed windshield since it will just get broke within 6 months again.

My understanding is it would be the non-stock generic replacement. They gave me the option to select the factory or generic and I quoted the generic.
