Windshield noise (Wind and Rain)

Just an update here. I have heard the tin type noise that lookitsadam was talking about when it rains. That is different than what I have experienced which I've narrowed down to tying in with the front driver dash speaker. When the weather has been cold out and audio is on, it seems to make the windshield make small popping sounds periodically. Very strange. Might be just the vibrations of the audio on the windshield and going to the seams that's causing it. Anyway thought I'd clarify since my situation was a little bit different.

I noticed this weird phenomenon 2 days ago and it's driving me crazy. It seems to happen on sharp small bumps.

Do you have the alpine sound system? I do and have noticed on a few occasions that songs with heavy bass will make my pedals and feet vibrate. It's not annoying, and I actually find it quite amusing that the stereo is that powerful, but it's possible your dash is a little loose causing vibrations elsewhere.

I too have heard this, it’s not a normal sound made by rain hitting a vehicle.

When I bought my first jeep, a JK, I learned to stop caring and trying to diagnose weird noises.

It's definitely the aluminum. Makes rain noise sound really loud. Put some foam or cloth on top of the top to soften the noise hahah. Wind noise is obnoxiously loud on mine at any speeds above 35 mph.

Actually just found this searching for a popping sound. My wind noise has been progressively getting worse, at first it just barely noticeable. Now I randomly started getting a popping when slowing down/stopping or turning coming from the driver side floor.

I know you think your popping is coming from the floor (I did too at one point trying to find my popping sound) but seriously try loosening the hood hinge on the side it's making noise and retighten it. It fixed mine.

I got my 2019 Rubicon I am having the same issue wind noise at left dash when speed reach 40-50 miles , dealer had it for 6 days , could not fix it
they admit to it but no fix , very frustrated .
