For those with either a Mopar or AEV snorkle do you encounter any wind noise when driving at highway speeds; anything I should expect? I understand when RPMs get higher you can hear that more than usual (I have Mopar cold air installed when built and experience that already so that isn't a concern. Thanks for those who contribute!

Great question, curious to see the answer from those with experience. I would assume yes.

I haven't noticed worse wind noise, but you do hear the Pentastar a little more.

Pretty much anything protruding into the windstream on a Jeep will make added noise.. Buddy ran one and it did increase interior noise-similar to my roof rack YMMV

I have an AEV snorkel with Sy-Klone precleaner, and haven't noticed any noise at highway speeds. At low speeds, I can sometimes hear minor, hollow intake noise under acceleration. The noise is definitely present (but not loud) with the passenger (snorkel-side) window down.

No sound difference on my Rugged Ridge snorkel, whether or not the upper snorkel piece is installed. I've got tires and roof rack installed, and no annoying sounds or whistles - my light bar is mounted farther back than windshield mounted units.

My XJ Cherokee with snorkel on the driver side had a very nice growl when stomping on it.

100% there will be an increase in noise. Some might notice, some might not. I have no idea how people can't hear roof racks, snorkels or light bars. I assume some sort of hearing loss with the ones that can't hear those things. Sometimes I wish I was deaf.

You are completely wrong. I have been with an aev snorkel for 4 years!

100% at highway speeds my snorkel increased wind noise 1% with 0% change in pitch, so 0% noticeable.

😂 how can a statement like “some will notice, others will not” be “completely wrong”? I put my hand out the window and it makes a noise. There absolutely must be some noise because there is some resistance.

The statement was more like "assume people who don't notice have hearing loss". It's like claiming there's no such thing as a silent fart.
