So, this is my first post and I am a new member but have been reading a lot of threads. Thanks to all of the members that have been posting info!!

My issue - I have had my JLUS since April and I am now seeing a couple of issues. The first I have experienced is a whistling wind noise near the a-pillar of the drivers side. Funny thing, I took it back to the dealer and they kept my jeep for a week "taping" areas off to isolate the issue...guess they don't read the forum. Anyway, after a week of taping and "diagnosis" dealership states that it is ready to go. Pick up the jeep and as soon as I get up to 35 mph, whistling wind noise is back. I didn't have time to return as I have a life and need my vehicle. So I made an appointment to return the jeep 3 weeks later.

On the return visit, it was time for an oil change, tire rotation, so I dropped it off at 8am on June 17th. I asked them to also address the whistling wind noise again so they put me in a rental. I contacted the dealership several times inquiring about the vehicle and each time they stated that they had it corrected and it would be ready that afternoon. Of course before I would make the 45min trek to the dealership to pick up in the afternoon, I would call and you guessed it, it was not ready, they needed to do one other thing. So 10 days later, I go pick up the jeep and they tell me that they put a temporary fix in place (a foam strip between the windshield and a pillar), and they needed to reach out to Chrysler for a path forward and that I would need to bring the jeep back on Monday July 1st-- absolutely amazing -- these are mopar/jeep/FCA certified service techs right!? Not masters in this area. Has any one experience this whistling wind noise in this area of the vehicle?

Second issue, got up this morning and jumped in the jeep heading on a quick trip and the Electronic stability control warning comes on along with start/stop disabled and auto park issue. All of the lights on the gear shift lit up amber and the vehicle would not move, heck I couldn't even turn the jeep off, it was stuck in "run". Phoned for a tow through jeep assist but before the tow truck arrived, everything miraculously reset and I was able to start the jeep. I took it right over to the dealership and they will not be able to diagnose until Monday. I was able to turn the jeep off once I arrived at the dealership but I had to cancel the tow truck and I used the jeep assist and you guessed it, the jeep would not start and it is stuck in the "run" position and I can't turn the jeep off - I did inform the guys at the service desk of the issue so they are working to get the jeep off so as not to drain the battery.

Has any experience either of these issues?

I'm sorry I'm no help but given your symptoms make sure you know how to manually get it out of P in case it freaks out in a bad spot (assuming you have the auto) and you need to at least roll the vehicle out of the way

Just wanted to provide an update:

After getting it to the dealer, they test drove it and the Jeep developed the same issue and they had to get it towed back to the dealership. They checked everything and turns out that there were some bent pins and an issue with the valve body. They replaced the valve body associated with the transmission and a wiring harness. As far as the drive-ability of the jeep, there are no issues but now the jeep has a rattling sound and an exhaust leak.....back to the dealership on Monday.

Hmm. Any other Jeep dealers around. Seems like the rattling is the exhaust is loose causing the leak as well.
