Will an AEV procal harness work for a tazer mini ?

I don’t have a tazer but the with the AEV deal (single twisted pair to canbus block if I recall) I am unable to clear codes with either my Banks iDash or JSCAN unless I plug in the SGW bypass. So my guess is “no”.

Yes it does. The procal is primary for tire size and gear ratio. I have both.

Yup, ProCal plugs into OBD II and Tazer connects to security module. They can co-exist but it makes no sense to do so since ProCal is only a small subset of what Tazer can do .

I think there are two facets to the original question.
1) Does a tazer mini require a security gateway bypass module?
According to google: Tazer JL/JT Mini feature a built-in Security Gateway bypass, meaning you do not need to buy an additional bypass harness. You plug the Tazer itself directly behind the dash into the SGW module plugs rather than the OBD2 port.

2) Does the AEV cable act as a security gateway bypass for other devices?
I don't believe it does, but that also doesn't appear to be necessary.

Buy the sgw extension for the tazer mini. It will save your hands and knuckles from getting sliced open. Ask me how I know. Procal already comes with cable that you connect to star connector behind the glovebox. You can use both together if you want. Procal will be primary for tire size and gear ratio changes

I have had a procal since day one. I use it for tire size and lowering the psi threshold...my reason for asking is someone local has one for sale but unknown if unmarried....I figured if it worked with the procal harness it would be simple to see if it were married or not..
