I've pulled my fuse probably two dozen times and never had to reprogram a thing. Weird.....I had removed the fuse as well and it worked. But having to reset presets in the stereo was very annoying.
I tried the Power/Tuner butter thing the other day and it worked like a charm. Going to be doing that instead of the fuse fork now on.Based on what I'm reading here, I'll try the Power and Tuner button trick to reboot.
So I read somewhere that if you hold the power and tune radio buttons at the same time for 15 seconds then release it will reboot the system. I’m here to say it works like a charm, you can even do it while driving and it resets my hotspot.Having the same problem as others. Current AT&T account, hot spot turned on and can’t connect to it. I did the fuse pull one, it worked for a couple of months maybe. Seems like there should be a TSB on this recurring issue.
Sorry you‘re still having issues and a reset is not helping. I just took a 3600 road trip over 2 weeks and had to reset my WiFi (and CarPlay) about a dozen times, the holding the two buttons together for over 15 seconds snd releasing worked every time.Yeah just tried this and it didn’t work. Didn’t even reset anything. Tried it in just run without the Jeep actually running and with it running. All it did was power off the radio. Found an update software from another thread and put it on a usb to start the update and the radio does not even see the USB, but sees my phone just fine…… had this issue since October when they pushed out an update to the radio. Worked great before that. It did work for like 5 minutes after the system reset when I replaced the battery.
Replying to myself, when I took the 2 week road trip, holding the buttons worked every time to get the hotspot back up and working, but around 2 weeks ago it would not reset it and I had to pull the fuse. That reboot fixed it but I have since had to hold the buttons down and it also did work again.Sorry you‘re still having issues and a reset is not helping. I just took a 3600 road trip over 2 weeks and had to reset my WiFi (and CarPlay) about a dozen times, the holding the two buttons together for over 15 seconds snd releasing worked every time.
Time for a dealer trip.
My 2021 grand Cherokee L summit Wi-Fi hotspot cannot enable and nowifi connection after talking to Jeep connect I was told there need to be software update let me know if it works here is the following you have to tell the service centerLots of posts and all same issue. I see the "pull the fuse", makes me a bit nervous as I'm new to jeeps. I have had mine 3 months. Got the got spot subscription with ATT, about a month in kept seeing that I was connected but no internet available. Worked with ATT who said everything looked good and I needed to take to the dealer. Dealer worked on troubleshooting with ATT only for me to say I needed to come get my vehicle (after 7 days, single mom and only adult in the house). Dealer had not heard back from ATT with most recent queation. Got my jeep and whoa, internet worked for about 2 weeks. Went out again and same run around, ATT says I need to take it back to the dealer. Thankfully they refunded my year subscription and gave me 1 month free, which is up soon. So problem not solved and not going to be able to troubleshoot (I imagine) unless I pay for unavailable internet again.
Very disappointing, at the point i feel like i should get a refund on my vehicle purchase as it isnt living up to the features I paid for. No way I'll get that though.
Any other fixes that have worked for people?
Quoting myself for those who are interested in a solution; I tried:I’m having this issue with my 22. I have subscribed to AT&T and WiFi was working fine for a while, now when I connect, on my phone it shows up as connected to WiFi, but I don’t have the WiFi logo or actual internet connection.
I’ve already reset the hotspot name and password in hopes of fixing it, but still no dice.
Anyone here get proper resolution from Jeep on this?
