  1. Engine Knock After Fill Up

On rare occasions, I've noticed engine knock at certain RPMs. Tonight, I filled up with gas at a different station than usual, a BP. I usually fill up at an Exxon near my home. I do always fill up with Premium. After filling up at the BP station I had a noticeable loss of power. I also noticed...
  2. Very Weird Light Response

Yes, great question...I did. Now...here's another really weird thing.... My right fender DRL only comes on when the headlights are turned on, either manually or via the auto feature. The right DRL will not stay on if the headlights are not on. The left DRL works all the time as it should. I'm...
  3. Very Weird Light Response

I had a FlashCal installed for the larger tires but that was it. Everything was working fine for a couple of years. It was only after the dealer replaced the batteries that things got wonky. I now have Tazer I decided to try to see if it would fix the lights. It didn't but it did take care of...
  4. Very Weird Light Response

I may have to try that. Since everything was working before the Start/Stop battery and main battery were replaced by the dealer if it is possible when they put the new battery in if maybe they did something to the computer.
  5. Very Weird Light Response

Yes, tried it both ways. Here is further information... For some reason, the right light has apparently forgotten it is a DRL. Only the left light comes on when all lights are manually switched off. When I switch on the park lights manually the right one comes on and stays on. When I switch to...
  6. Tazer JL Mini Programming - One Guy's Experience/Review

So I took the Tazer dive so to speak. I have previously had the Superchips FlashCal F5 and used it to change my tire size. That was pretty much it. For that it worked fine. I upgraded my headlights to the OEM LEDs. They work fine. I upgraded the DRLs and they worked fine for a while. Now they...
  7. Very Weird Light Response

No, just unplugged the originals and plugged the LEDs in. The odd thing is they will come on and work sometimes if I manually turn the lights off and then back on. The other weird thing is even with the lights manually turned of the left DRL stays on as it should but the right one turns off.
  8. Very Weird Light Response

I have a JLUR that came with Halogen lights. I switched out the headlight for a complete OEM LED and the running lights to LEDs and bought a Mopar steel bumper that came with LEDs. The headlights work find. The fogs will not come on at all. The DRLs in the fenders only the left one stays on...
  9. fog lights not working after installing OEM steel bumper

After owning the FlashCal, I've decided to throw in the towel and get the Tazer. I just ordered one. In the beginning, both were fairly even in terms of features. I purchased originally to change the tire size since the dealer wanted like $300. For a while the upgrades sort of kept up with the...
  10. fog lights not working after installing OEM steel bumper

Yes, the complete steel bumper package (Mopar) was purchased from the dealer and installed by the dealer. Like I said, I believe it worked until my batteries died and were replaced. That is when I noticed they were not coming on. The dealer thinks the settings got reset and needs to be set back...
  11. fog lights not working after installing OEM steel bumper

Thanks! I may try it...my dealer unfortunately cannot help...weird...
  12. fog lights not working after installing OEM steel bumper

Flashcal cannot that I can see. I have it. It doesn't have any options I can find and the menus are fairly simple. I have seen some say the Tazer can and some say they tried it and it didn't. So who knows.
  13. fog lights not working after installing OEM steel bumper

Thanks Jay, My dealer had a complete steel bumper assembly with the Jeep Warn Winch and accessories. Had them install it and it worked for a while but both stopped when my start stop and main batteries died and were replaced by the dealership. Now they don't work. Dealer attempted but couldn't...
  14. fog lights not working after installing OEM steel bumper

FlashCal doesn't work on the fog lights. At least mine doesn't show an option and I have the latest version.
  15. Pretty good deal on Mopar vehicle protection plans

My experience with Mapar's Extended Warranty is pretty ironic...comical even. I've had an extended warranty on my 2018 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited. I've had very limited use of the warranty. I did take advantage of some of the perks but Mopar made money on me...I wasn't a loss leader. My...
  16. Brakes Acting Funny

I just had my JLUR serviced for the 50k service which included tire rotation and alignment. When I went to start the brake pedal was very stiff and sat higher than normal. It was so high and stiff it would not activate the brake pushed for start. Once started the brake lowered to normal but then...
  17. Tired of Aux Battery Failures

Thanks! I already have the Superchips FlashCal to adjust all the things JSCAN does. I leave the FlashCal security module on the Jeep and always have. My dealer has never had an issue with it.
  18. Tired of Aux Battery Failures

What about the Aux Switches on the JL Rubicon. I noticed the Aux Battery seems to be associated with them for some reason. When I start the car I get a message "Battery Charging...Aux Switches inoperable". If I disconnect the aux battery as mentioned will the Aux Switches work? I do use them.
  19. Tired of Aux Battery Failures

I like that. Question is if this also works with a Tazer or in my case a FlashCal plug installed for my tire size. Right now I'm thinking if I have to have something to adjust for my tire size and I need to turn off the Start / Stop I might as well just replace my FlashCal with a Tazer.
  20. Tired of Aux Battery Failures

The aux battery seems to be the issue. I think it is sized too small to begin with. I turn off the Start/Stop system as soon as I start the Jeep. My wife doesn't and drives in the city with stop and go lights and traffic. I think that is what kills the aux battery.
