Because I make bad life choices?

(we love the jeep and so far has treated us well) We got it because it does everything we need a vehicle to do and because we often off road, so it was a no brainer. Liked it a ton better than the bronco and 4runner.

Not sure I own a Jeep...the 4Xe gets some crap from the Jeep-o-Sphere.
I think the 4Xe is more of a Offroad capable train

P.S Yes, I'm aware the engine on a train only provide electricity.

I had a 67 Commando daily driver, nice Jeep.
i had a 97 TJ 4cyl. Also nice but under powered And no A/C
my wife decided she wanted a new one with A/C and a stick so that’s what we have. Great Jeep, 21 JLR
i love lockers and low range. Crossover suv owners don’t know what they are missing.
97' TJ Sport. See profile pic. 4.0L and A/C. Chick magnet.

because parts will fall off other vehicles on these city streets, high bumpers and no skirts etc also make navigating alleyways easier

....... What gridlock...... hop a few parking lots into back alleys to avoid

The Wrangler is probably the only vehicle with a real bumper, Bronco now also I think, other vehicles seem like their bumpers can damage easily and expensive to fix, a bruised Wrangler bumper doesn't look bad and is easily covered up.

For me, the original Jeep I got that wasn't a wrangler was a Grand Cherokee and it was a case of I was looking for a vehicle with 4 wheel drive. My current Wrangler I got because it was one of the few vehicles out there that still have a manual transmission option and I had missed driving a manual.

I stuck with the manual as long as I could

It was fun to drive, and when anyone ask to borrow the Wrangler, I would toss them the keys, they would jump in and couldn't even figure out how to start it.

I originally bought a gladiator, came from sports cars and a track coach on 2 wheels. Moved to Vegas and decided that a gladiator would be a great idea as we could go camping/wheeling, pull a couple of dirt bikes for the kids all on the same trip/weekend.

I remember the wife asking what I was going to do to the gladiator as she knows I don't leave anything alone. My response was just wheels/tires and I'll be good. That failed within 3 days of research.

I have stuck with jeep because of its capabilities and endless Lego building possibilities. Stuck with off roading because of the people I constantly meet along the way and the adventures we all share.

I own a Jeep Wrangler because I wanted a 4x4 with manual transmission. And I’m a MoPar guy from way back. And the JL fits in my garage. So, there is only one vehicle that fits my needs. That’s why I own a Jeep

Somewhere between impulse buy, fulfillment of a dream since first test driving a manual Sport back in the summer of 2001 and no longer being volunteered to drive family to formal gatherings (I guess some people don't like climbing into a Jeep in their fancy suits and dresses 😅)

Definitely didn't buy to improve my dating and sex life 😗

I bought a 392XR. I think it is great do-it-all urban vehicle.

It is stupidly fast and loud like a muscle car. However, I have no fear of hitting a pot hole. It also is a great family hauler. Does well enough for road trips. It has just enough lux to be nice and comfy, but not so fancy that I'd get upset with my kids leaving fries and ketchup all over the back seats. It has a decent amount of tech like ACC / Heated seats, etc so that it feels modern, but isn't so over loaded with doo dads that it is bound to fail or feels like there are too many nannies. It also looks like a vehicle with purpose instead of just another bland appliance like SUV.

Hoping to keep it for a long time. Put 30k on it in 2 years. Jeeps are one of the few vehicles that don't age badly whereas most cars look woefully outdated after a few years or new model comes out.

I own a Jeep Wrangler because of how much fun it is! I currently have doors off, roof and back window open! I also like the full time wheel drive and rear diff. to get all the turbo power to the ground. I added 4.88 gears after my Mopar Lift and 35" tires! Awesome exploring the back country behind the mountains!
