Out of curiosity, is their a jeep forum where angry grills are acceptable? I see a ton of angry grills around here so I find it odd they are so universally hated.

I think they are tacky, but apparently enough people seem to think they are cool or companies wouldn't be making them and people buying them.

We're all having fun here, but I want to take a moment to say that these angry grills and grumpers actually have a useful purpose that benefits society. They allow you to identify at a great distance people that have no taste, common sense, or intelligence. This saves me from interacting with these fools and wasting my time. So these horrible abominations do have at least that one use.

So you're saying if I want people to leave me the hell alone on vacations I need to install an angry grille prior to leaving town. I feel like it might backfire and attract a worst case scenario level of douche though.

I think I like the second one, but I'd add some LEDs around the edge and get it chrome plated.
