Ordered nearly 3 months ago on 12/6. Dealer insisted he had an open allocation, not so sure about that at this point.

Check with them and Jeep Chat about once a week, but still stuck in D with no build date, and no reasons given from either of them.

Getting nervous because they have apparently cancelled the XR package on the 392 now, so each new day that I don't get a build date issued for mine makes me that much more concerned that I'm going to get screwed.

I'm hoping that since I have had a VIN # since 12/8 that my black, 392 XR will EVENTUALLY be built, but not so sure about that at this point either.

I'll add that I am of course aware that some of us have had far worse experiences with the process than me, but it's still frustrating nonetheless to watch lots of members on the FB 392 Forums who ordered their XR's nearly two months after me get their build dates of early March. Some that ordered a full month or more after me in early to late January have already had theirs built.

Grrrr...

It'll get built. Mine took almost 4 months before it was scheduled to get built. Had VIN entire time and no allocation.

Patience grasshopper. I ordered XR 10/28 and "still gathering parts" according to Jeep chat...

Jeep product manager indicated on Jeep 392 FB group that if it was ordered and VIN assigned it will get built eventually. XR was shut down as all orders they could take for the year have been filled. So if you got a vin, you are one of those orders.

Thanks! Yeah, I finally got the chance today to ask Scott B over there (the same guy you mentioned that works for Jeep,) what he thought and he said the exact same thing, that as long as a vin was issued I should be fine.

Which at the end of the day was all I was really hoping to hear. :whew:

I’m excited to get it of course but honestly not too worried about the wait, since I’ve had to deal with that part before. But at least now that I’m more comfortable that it’s going to get built some day, I can finally start to relax. ?

I have a 392 XR on order, and I have a VIN #; however, would you please clarify what "one of those orders" refers to.

A. does "one of those orders" mean it will NOT get built because it's an XR
OR
B. does "one of those orders" mean if you ordered the XR package, and have a VIN it will get built?

I'm just paranoid about being able to get my 392 XR.

You're welcome! Be patient, but I know it can be frustrating.

Said true! It's a bit like watching water come to a boil, as soon as you turn your back, it will boil!

Mine went to D1, est ship date s 3/26. Finally some movement. Dealer says they don't expect it till end of April though as shipping typically has been taking about a month.

That's awesome news man, congrats! I'm curious, has yours been issued a build sheet yet? I check mine often on the order build and tracking page and nothing yet, but I'm wondering if a build sheet happens automatically when you are assigned a ship date, or if they are triggered by something else.

I think the build sheet shows up when it goes out of D1. My buddy’s is in D1 and no build sheet is available yet. I think that is only a couple of days tho. His ship date is in a couple weeks.

No build sheet on Cryptostickers yet. Definitely excited. Hopefully, it won't get delayed too much. Now I just gotta figure out how to tell the wife...
