A 5 speed with the 3.0L diesel?I have the older 5-spd. I have been getting ~2000rpms on 5th at 65mph
I'd wish to be you honestly.
it's normal buddy.
You have a 3.0L diesel that doesn't have eight gears? Did you remove the transmission?Damn, I don't even have eight gears.
No, instead of removing the transmission, I added 0.6 liters and 4.88 gears. You have a 3.0L diesel that doesn't have eight gears? Did you remove the transmission?
1,600 is perfectly fine for a diesel.I have 37" tires, on the freeway, in 8th gear, it stays at 1600 rpm. Is that ideal or do I need to regear? Still on stock 3.73.
Damn, that's some amazing low-end torque.I also have dyno charts I made for the various engines vs rpm.
