On the rockslide, it looks like the top shelf can be left up? I'm thinking what happens if you want to put a 2-burner stove on it, it looks like the top shelf would be in the way.

Any idea if this will fit under a Tuffy security enclosure? I've been trying to study all the pics online and it appears that it may clear.
My Front Runner shelf fits under my Tuffy enclosure just fine. I think they would all fit, the Tuffy matches up with the height of the bottom of the rear glass.

Got rear ended a while back, and the plastic trim panel on the inside broke during the impact. Perfect time to add a tailgate table; is there anything out there besides the Outback Adventures one that actually replaces the trim panel?

If you can wait for the preorder, American Adventure Lab has one that replaces the plastic trim.

I got my RSE tailgate table mounted up, but I think I might fiddle with it a bit this weekend. The table itself is fantastic but I'm not 100% sold on the mounting since it just uses the three holes at the top of the table with a standoff spacer and nothing the bottom. I think most tables are mounted this way so it's not a knock on RSE, I just want it more secure.

Either I am going to "clearance" the tailgate panel to get it to sit flush against the tailgate or remove it and rig up a thin metal or plastic patch panel and fasten it at the bottom as well.

If I remember correctly, @Springtail 's table has 2 screws on the bottom. It's a solid table.

Well, here it is! 15 minute install. 20 if you're a dumbass like me and put the o-ring on before putting the screws in the table. Once I sorted that out, it was super simple. I think it is an awesome table. Way bigger than you'd expect. I have a 17" Blackstone grill coming on Friday. Can't wait!

Very nice. Does it rattle much when driving?

Nope, no noise at all. The magnets are pretty strong and it all comes together in a nice tight package

Yes, the top can be left up. I got a 17" Blackstone griddle for mine. Fits perfectly with the propane attached

I have a 17" blackstone as well. Mine has the grease trap on the back. Is yours on the front? Do you have a photo of the griddle on the RSE table? Have you had any issues leveling it?
Mine is in the front. I don't have pics yet but I'll post when I do. The feet on the griddle screw-in so it should be easy to level as long is it isn't crazy off from the start

When you have the top shelf open/standing up, is it actually stable like that? Or is there a risk of the top shelf falling back down into the horizontal position? Thanks!

It won't go anywhere. The shelf is stable.

Made a brace from the existing threaded holes at the bottom of the tailgate to the existing holes in the bottom of the RSE table. Big reduction in movement by having the bottom supported.

It's just some scrap aluminum strips wrapped in electrical tape (in case it rattles), but does the job.
