The grill is different in sport vs Rubicon/Sahara. Actually, if you priced everything up, to turn a Sport into a Rubicon using all new OEM parts, you will end up with price way over a factory spec Rubicon.

The grill is different in sport vs Rubicon/Sahara. Actually, if you priced everything up, to turn a Sport into a Rubicon using all new OEM parts, you will end up with price way over a factory spec Rubicon.
I’m definitely heading there - was short sited and didn’t have the cash for a Rubicon

It's far cheaper to just buy a Rubicon than to turn a Sport into a Rubicon.
Depends. Forgetting the lockers and sway bar, if you’re going to gut the original, why buy a bunch of trim level stuff you’re just going to pull out and get rid of? I’ve never costed it out.

Without the lockers and e-disco, you've got a sahara with a rock-trac transfer case.

One correction, the Sahara and Rubicon both have the big brake kit stock.
And the Moab has Dana 44 rear, same hood, same suspension, and better rock sliders.

The Sahara and sport can both have the D44 axles option on the rear. The front is only on the rubicon, and the axles are wider on the rubicon.

Rubicon comes with premium cloth seats, one of the nicest cloth seats I have seen in years.

One other thing to consider is, yes sure you can add Rubicon takeoffs to Sport/Sahara, but the moment you put these on you basically void warranty, even though these components came from another Jeep.

One other thing to consider is, yes sure you can add Rubicon takeoffs to Sport/Sahara, but the moment you put these on you basically void warranty, even though these components came from another Jeep.
That's an oversimplification of how the warranty works. Sure, your new suspension is not covered under warranty, but the rest of the vehicle's warranty is unaffected unless the suspension mod can be directly linked to the problem.
