It's the most fun vehicle. The top comes off in the summer, the snow in winter, lots of stuff you can do to personalize it.

I am amazed how the Jeep seems to have a Love/Hate relationship with their owners.

I know on my forums many manufactures read posts like this and take them back to upper management. Select your rating and expound on it. Maybe as a group we can get our message to FCA management and help to shape the future of Jeep!

10. Best vehicle I have ever purchased
9. For the most part its exactly what I expected, Would buy again
8. Awesome vehicle can't wait for the next new model to buy
7. So, So, But it does the job. FCA could have done better for the price
6. I have had issues but got FCA took care of them, happy
5. Not unhappy, but not happy
4. Its been an uphill battle, I have had more then my share of problems
3. Not what I expected, I don't really feel Jeep Cares.
2. Its been an uphill battle, would not buy again
1. Total garbage, sorry I purchased and would not recommend.

Remember, select your rating and say why you feel this way! Cheers to all!

2022 Stock 392 XR

I rate it a 10. My dream vehicle. It's the one I've been waiting Jeep to build since I could drive, and now I have it.

I was at a social event recently, sitting at a table with someone who I never met and we got to talking about vehicles. He asked what is my dream vehicle. I said "I own it - Jeep Wrangler 392".

Now It's not perfect, certainly some things I would have had Jeep do differently but I'm not looking the gift horse in the mouth.

A solid 10. This is my 5th Wrangler and the best and most fun so far.... I wasn't sure that I would like a 'modern' Jeep, but boy was I wrong.

7, I’ve had the usual problem with the aux. battery, but for what this Jeep has, I think it’s is thousands overpriced.

10 across the board for me. On and off-road, it has served me flawlessly. Just under two years of ownership thus far, and zero issues to speak of.

This is my first ever Wrangler -- also happens to be my dream vehicle. It has been a beautiful addition to daily life. The possibilities are truly endless. Already a ton of great memories with it, and many more to come.

Looking forward to taking it on a 1200-mile winter road trip next week!

Call me a fanboy but after tooling around in the snow this weekend, I'm gonna have to go with 11 out of 10.

I’m going with a 9, but I really want to go with 8, 9, & 10 but I can’t. For me the vehicle is great, I love the community and the sharing of stories, information, and the willingness to help each other. It’s really ashame that JEEP is the total opposite of the people their loyal community. For me it’s based on three points. First, it’s the limitation of options, bundles, and al la cart new purchases. Second, it’s the secrecy or lack of available information related to parts and diagrams. The one positive thing about Jeep owners is what someone else replied here, wrenching. That’s the thing that swayed my decision to purchase my JL, the ability to make it my own one-of-a-kind representation of my personality and I believe JEEP has made that counter intuitive. Third, even the information you can get out of JEEP or Mopar, it’s incomplete or so convoluted that you to spend at least a full day going down the rabbit hole to find.
I’ve found this forum to be a god send. Most of the mods or repairs I’ve made have come from information found on this site.
I hope this helps and JEEP does something about it, but I won’t hold my breath based on what I’ve read here unfortunately. :(

My 2021 JLUR (with 12,000 miles) is a 5 with elements of 9. The 9 portion is that with buying a Chrysler product I assumed it wouldn't be built with much quality, and that it would have problems - it has lived up to it. But the Wrangler is my second ride. My 17 year, old 220K miles, Tundra handles all the daily duties with it's continued Toyota like near zero problems, so I don't mind. But I will say Jeep is a blast to drive, always puts a smile on my face and really moves my soul. I just ignore the funny yellow lights on the dash, and the radio going super loud or soft when I came to traffic lights, or......

I'd say its a 9.5....
9. 5 It is exactly what I wanted and has exceeded my expectations, would buy again.

Why not a 10? I can't say it is the best car I have ever owned but I've owned quite a few. Both the best and worst actually go to the same car. That one was a BMW e60 545i. It had the dynamic adjusting suspension. By far the best driving car I have owned. V8 power, light and drove like a stock car. The suspension would adjust side to side so it would corner flat. Fun to drive. However, the damn electronics on the E60 were possessed. Ask anyone who owned one... LOL!

I agree that Jeep’s customer service and warranty support are poor and need to be improved, and I think jeeps are over-priced, but a simple wrangler is pretty close to the cost of an average new vehicle these days. (According to Autoweek the average new vehicle is now about $50,000.) The new GMC pickup I looked at this weekend had a Monroni sticker of over $100,000.

Our jeeps aren’t in the high-end vehicle category that earns the special white-glove treatment expected by luxury import buyers. Jeeps are just a cool, but unnecessarily complex American vehicle. That complexity, and the modern deemphasis on customer service, have landed us in this place.

We won’t return to better customer service until the market demands it, and I don’t see that happening — because we’ve all been trained to tolerate/expect terrible customer service, from automated phone “service”, to 30 minute hold-times, to terrible lines at phone stores and banks, to ridiculous traffic and commute times, to the miserable customer-proof packaging that makes it nearly impossible to get what you bought out of the package. The list is endless. In the US, quality and customer service rank a distant second and third behind product price-point. That fundamental truth made Walmart what it is today.
All valid points.

But Jeep sales have been in steady decline since 2018. So the writing is on the wall for anyone who wants to read it.

Plus other automakers like Honda, Hyundai-Kia, and more often than not Toyota, are more preoccupied with providing customers with value for their money. When the economy softens, interest rates go up, fuel prices skyrocket, or consumer confidence goes down, brands that are not seen to provide good value, like Jeep, get hit first and hardest.

9 or 10, depending on the day.

A couple of issues that I feel like Jeep could have done a better job with - the 2.0T and 4xe get too hot when the vehicle is loaded heavy, it's a struggle trying to get that under control and I run into overheating issues driving uphill long distances even when it's freezing temps outside. In the summer it's much, much worse. I feel like I can probably solve that someday with a combination of cooling system upgrades, but Jeep should've addressed that at the factory. They had to have known some of us would be loading our Jeeps up with 1000 pounds of stuff, right?

Also some other little gremlins that bug me, but aren't a big deal really. The OEM battery was a terrible place for Jeep to decide to save $100. They need to fix the robot the pushes the fuses down, because on 10's of thousands of their vehicles the Jeeps are delivered with the fuses just kind of dropped in place but not at all seated. The gasoline filler tube is an embarrassment, it's always a struggle to refill the tank all the way. My gas door release button stopped working for no reason, and I have to use the emergency pull string whenever I have to fill up.

And the gas tank in the 4xe (and I assume some other models) is ridiculously small. 17 gallons, in a vehicle that gets 18mpg? Come on. Give us 25 gallons or more, dammit. Even my Audi S6 sedan had 24 gallons.

Aside from that, still easily a 9 or 10. There's no other (new) vehicle that can do what my Jeep can do, I love it more than any vehicle I've ever owned, and I'm definitely a Wrangler owner for life. My only regret was waiting until I was almost 40 to finally get one.

No complaints here - goes everywhere I point it.
still waiting on the high pressure fuel pump recall, but I can't hold that against my jeep personally

Being as objective as possible, a 10. I just wish the ecodiesel option had been available for a much longer period of time. And paired with a manual transmission so that I don't have to worry about locking it.

9, speaking from the perspective of a basic 2018 Sport S. Quality of components is above average. Only remaining 4x4 with solid front axle that's not a dualie / ranch truck.

Maintenance is easy. The 3.6L is a great engine that'll go forever if you treat it right. Z8 transmission is excellent. Strong, easy to service yourself (fluid/filter/valve body/solenoids, etc). T-case is also well built. Frame is over-engineered for the size of a two-door, which is nice.

Welds, body panels, fasteners, fixtures, interior plastics, etc., are generally better than a lot of 2010s-to-now vehicles.

Can't speak to newer models. Seems a lot of folks have complaints about 2023+.
